I really have done the research so you don't have to, this is the best dog harness on Amazon! It is literally the only harness that has everything I was looking for all on ONE harness! I am an experienced seamstress, and I recognize quality products when I see them. It arrived today, my dog has been wearing it all day. So far the fit was correct as far as the measurements that were suggested, so it fits perfectly. He has been quite comfortable in it, and it looks great on him! This is incredibly strong and sturdy. It's clearly been made very well, and the sewing has been done very well, it will definitely stay together through washing/wearing. I have literally searched through every single harness on Amazon trying to find one that has everything I wanted. I am still in awe over how difficult a task that it was! I nearly had given up, till I found this one. First off I needed a good fit for a small dog, something that he could absolutely not escape from! This harness has you covered on that. My dog Odie has a serious problem with pulling with a D ring on his back, so I wanted dual D rings, and they have to be something metallic so they won't tear up or rust. I have to have a good sturdy handle on the back of the harness too. This harness checks all of those boxes. I really wanted one that was going to be simple to put on, bc his last harness was a nightmare for everyone but me to operate. So I wanted to get something that everyone would easily understand. This just slipped over his head and snaps on both sides, extremely easy to operate. What really was so incredibly difficult to find was a harness that wasn't going to have any straps dangling around off of the harness. THIS WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! You don't realize that it's that rare of an option until you actually start looking for it. The advertisements for each of the harnesses on here do not make it any easier either! None of them list that information about them in their descriptions, and the majority of the photos, and videos are all taken from the same angles, making it impossible to actually see if they have any loose straps hanging out. The only way that you can even figure out if they're going to have loose straps is to go into the reviews and look at the pictures submitted by customers! It's mind numbing, tedious, and time consuming!!! It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to buy a harness if it's just going to be chewed on by your dog, bc they made it with straps hanging out from it! Now this harness has everything, and it has a circular design, so NO LOOSE STRAPS!!! Now I will say this, it can be difficult to loosen up the straps on this vest, as the buckles are extremely tight but that's by design. If you do it exactly how they show you to do it, then you would be totally fine. It's supposed to be tight, it's supposed to be incredibly hard to just pull loose, otherwise your dog would pull himself loose. I only bring it up bc I have seen other people's reviews complaining about it, and I feel like if you are thinking about buying this harness, that would be info you should have someone addressing. This harness is absolutely perfect, and it looks amazing on my dog. (I'll try to remember to come back to post a few pictures) It certainly has made me feel secure for my dogs comfort, but also his SAFETY! His ability to slip out of his old harness, as well as him pulling his lead, was the entire reason I was looking for a new harness. Incredibly happy customer, and I will definitely be coming back for other Kurgo products! Hands down this is the type of quality that we all wish for in everything we buy! I feel like a dog person designed this product bc they just couldn't find it anywhere to buy it.

These are good for walking. I knew I needed to get a Kurgo but I needed it to be used with a seatbelt. I had to send this back because you need metal buckles for it to be safe enough for the seatbelt. It is a good harness though, it was just something different that I needed.

This is my second harness. They fit my heeler very well and he is still able to run/herd like crazy. Only four stars because you have to be careful because the buckles are non replaceable so you stuck with a useless harness. Sure you could cut the stitching and redo it but would be nice if the straps would just come off to replace the buckles.

Travel long distance all the time with 2 big dogs and a medium sized dog too. All are harnessed and seat-belted in. Dogs are in their seat 10 hours total drive time one way. This harness was for the medium dog The fit was perfect, held her in her seat comfortably and we loved the purple color. . Was a breeze to transfer out of seatbelt to leash and back for potty breaks and she was always under our control. Hope to use for a long time.

Durable and comfortable harness for dogs that pull. Fits my 85 lb lab well.

Our 2nd harness, the first one outgrown the only reason replaced. Great quality and durable, she's a corgi and is in the mud, snow, and wet constantly. Our go our favorite dog harness by far! Super nice delivery guy, took photo to confirm delivery, thank you!

We have had around 7 Ruffwear Front Range style harnesses over the years for our two dogs (Vizsla & German Shorthaired Pointer/Aussie mix). The front hook is essential to stop them from pulling but we wanted to try the Kurgo brand because they seemed to have a bit more padding on the chest and also more adjustment points.VERY pleased with the results for both dogs. Same no pull benefits, but the overall harness seems to be a sturdier construction than our previous ones. Not knocking Ruffwear, but our dogs just need a little more than some others looking for a lighter style harness. We also live in a busier area and have one dog that is a bit fearful of humans after her previous owner's treatment, so she was able to wiggle free of the old ones. Not so in the Kurgo.Big fans and will be continuing to purchase this style of harness in the future!

I love the light weight of the harness and how quickly it dries, but I've had it less than a year and the plastic snap broke. I really think it should last longer than that.
