gave this one as a gift. set-up was lengthy because of several unrelated interruptions but it was all pretty straightforward. the changing colours and brightness levels responding to music was interesting and fun. more fun for kids under 11 though, of momentary interest to grownups in the room. since the light hasn't a microphone it's dancing colours rely on the one in the phone with alexa, thus not very useful and reducing interest even further.good enough otherwise, good price, does its job.

The price is definitely right for having a wifi-enabled color changing dimmable bulb. The app is on par with several the other apps out there. Alexa integration works well and I've had few problems changing colors or dimming the bulb. It is not as bright as I would like and certain color combinations are significantly brighter than others. Very low dimming ranges are color dominant for example if you choose warm white as a color and go less than 10% the light turns red. This is a result of the LED and internal controller quality. I would definitely buy these again for novelty lighting, but not for someplace with specific task lighting requirements.

Read the directions carefully and setup was easy. Only works on 2.4ghz wifi.The light brightness is about the equivalent of a 40w bright daylight bulb.Not much to read by but a nice light for ambiance lighting.The color changing is really nice from the App. Voice with Alexa works good for turning it on and off but a bit glitchy for Alexa to change colors.Overall it's pretty nice but would like it brighter.

I am having trouble with this bulb. Before leaving a negative review, I want to see if the seller will replace it. I think that's only fair, as this is one bulb I tried, and it isn't very old.

This product definitely does not have millions of colors. It is not bright at all and the app is not easy to set up. Bought it for my dad as a Christmas stocking stuffer and it lasted all of ONE week before it completely stopped working.

it has nice brightness and colors. would buy again.
