its really small
in the photo it shows a middle pretzel spot but i does not have one...its an empty cup...and it is very small...i mean it makes good pretzels..but you have to roll them reallly really small or the rise too much...and they cook fast too...if you make a regular batch size of pretzels you will have tons of them...i did a half batch and still had too many....but it works ok...small pretzels make better snacks...but bigger ones seem more fluffy inside they always seem tough since you have to roll them so small

More like a waffle iron
This is essentially a waffle iron. The recipe book says to use your favorite pancake recipe and then has a few recipes for dips. The end product isn't at all like the big soft pretzels we were hoping for. Because it uses pancake mix, it's really more of a breakfast thing in our house.
