Hanna Hats Men's Donegal Tweed Vintage Cap

This is my husband's 4th Hanna Patchwork Cap. When he bought his first cap, about 43 years ago, it wasn't hard to find the "Brights" and that cap, despite the Dry Cleaner breaking the bill in the last cleaning job, is still his favorite.Sullivan Drug, from whom I bought this one, sent a nice cap in some great colors. For some reason, Hanna itself has cut back on production of the Brights, which he likes because they have a combination of all kinds of bright colors.These caps wear like iron. As I just mentioned, my husband was wearing his 43 year old one today. He'll start wearing his new one tomorrow, he says! My suggestion would be to hand-wash these caps in Woolite. They say to dry clean them but I can't understand why the dry cleaner broke the bill on his original cap. He also wears his other two but we couldn't get them in Brights, as he prefers.I intend to call Hanna Hats and make sure it's all right to wash them the way I plan. They are great people. And so are the people at Sullivan Drug who sent his hat ahead of schedule. My thanks go out to them!

I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with this hat. I usually wear a US fitted Size 8 baseball cap with average/short hair This XXL hat fits perfectly.When I wear the cap it doesn't look like it was stretched over my head. It looks pretty damned natural.The craftsmanship is great. Strong seams. Nice lining. I looked all over for months and could not find a hat with the same fit and quality.If you have a big noggin like me and want a nice hat in this style, BUY IT!

A very very nice hat and I liked that it was made in Ireland. I had to return it though because i ordered an x large, which I pretty much always order, but it was way too big. I'm pretty sure this has to do with sizing differences between the countries. I would recommend actually measuring your head and comparing your results with the companies sizing policies. Remarkable hat. Just what I was looking for. Keeps head warm and reasonably dry in style. Beautifully speckled Irish tweed with high quality craftsmanship. As long as I don't play rugby with it on, it will likely last the rest of my life. Mind the sizing info available from Hanna. I measured my head and followed their instructions. Hat fits perfectly.

This was a perfect replacement for my well worn previous one. It's exactly the same as the one that I bought almost 20 years ago (except for the price) and its quality is excellent. A great fall and winter cap in New England, even in snow and light rain -- warm and handsome. I even had a guy compliment me on its look during a subway commute to work. Not often that a Boston commuter throws a compliment your way on a crowded Red Line car. You'll like this one.

I just received this hat the other day and have to say I am impressed! This hat is obviously very high quality. I have a very hard time finding hats to fit my 77/8-8 head. I can rarely find a hat in my size during normal shopping. This one however was just a touch loose, which is perfect! I cant wait until this late summer heat wave goes away so I can wear it on evening strolls and to church services. I also am looking forward to being able to order a BLACK one in XXLarge. BTW, yes, I am Scots-Irish Dutch in my heritage so, I am a bit biased. Erin go braugh!

Well made and replaced a cap that was purchased in Ireland forty years ago...then the puppy (Irish Wolfhound ! ) chewed it up. Guess he was telling us it was time for a new one. This cap is of top quality...hope it lasts as well as the old one.

Absolutely beautiful hat! Top quality wool tweed in tonal colors blend perfectly together with excellent construction. I ordered this for my uncle as a Christmas gift and was delighted to see how well made it is. He loves this hat and it is now his favorite (he has about 6-7 others). Made in Ireland is like icing on the cake!Highly recommend!
