Photos in the product descriptions are very misleading. I knew that it would not look like a photograph but the degree to which they are pixelated looking is kind of disappointing. The colors are similar but not as bright as in the photographs. In this particular painting kit, the beads of one color were not all the same size, so there're large areas where the canvas shows through. The finished piece looks much better if you stand five or 6 feet back. Up close you can see all the flaws.I recommend buying an extra accessory pack to go with any of the paintings. You will want the extra green trays (I bought an additional 20 and used most of them on one painting, at one time) to have more colors at the ready. And the beads Storage container was very useful as well. Most useful in the kit was the additional bead picking pens that pick up more than one at a time. The kit that I got came with 2 that hold 4, 2 that hold 6, and 2 that hold 9. These are invaluable for doing large areas of the same color. I learned the hard way that it's very important to start from the upper right-hand corner and work left and down, one section at a time leaving the plastic cover on the unused canvas to protect it from your hands. The oil on your hands easily lifts the stickiness off of the Canvas and makes it much harder to work on.I sprayed a coat of polyurethane clear spray on the finished work to hold the pieces in place. It did not affect the shininess of the facets of the beads.

I bought this for my mom. She has been really enjoying it. The last diamond painting I got her, she had trouble seeing the symbols used on the canvas for the beads. This one was much better. It used letters instead of symbols and the letters were bigger and clear. There were no creases from shipping that I have found with some diamond paintings. It is covered with clear plastic so you can see what the whole thing looks like and plan which parts to do first (instead of wax paper that hides it like some other ones I have bought have.) She is about halfway done with it and it looks good so far. Since it's not finished, I do not know if it came with enough beads yet but will update when it's done. The picture is of what it looks like so far. She just has the leaves and the background left.

I have done 8 different paintings and never ran out of diamonds until this one. There was only 6 of the # colors.I didn't look at the full picture to count how many would be needed. Almost 1/2 way done and I ran out....Thank goodness I have kept all leftover diamonds from my previous 8 pictures. I had to search but found suitable replacements. They aren't exact but with so many colors in the pix it won't be noticeable.Finished product looks great.

Arrived on time. Its beautiful....at least as far as I've gotten. It's full drill and looks like it will be exquisite. The part I've done is breathtaking. Already have a place picked out to display it.

This was my first 5D Diamond Painting kit and I have to say I'm somewhat hooked! It's kind of the modern-day version of latch hook rugs mixed with color by numbers.I watched several instructional YouTube videos prior to getting started and was fortunate to pick up several tips/tricks prior to starting.One of the most important things I got out of them all was that being organized is key! Also, because most of this particular item is fairly dark, it would be beneficial to have a light pad for underneath. I do not have one and found this to be the most troubling part of the process.The vendor included plenty of dots in the set and they stuck easily to the mat. For the value, entertainment, etc. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth and it is quite attractive!

This diamond painting turned out beautifully! I loved it! Unfortunately, I have found that some of these diamond paintings don't turn out anything like they are supposed to.

I wasn't happy that it came with hard creases in the canvas, however was able to finally get them out. I worry about the diamonds falling off because they continually slid and had to be readjusted throughout the time I was working on it. I ended up laying it flat and keeping weight on it for a couple weeks after finishing it in hopes of "setting" them and then put the finished project under glass to help keep them in place. It wasn't until I received the invitation to write a review that I realized the discrepancy in the size. When I bought the project, it said it was 12x16 inches. The project, in fact, was 9-3/4 x 13-1/2 inches - that's a big difference and makes a huge difference in the sharpness of the image so it's fuzzy looking. I used a frame that was actually for a diploma.

This one was the first and only one that came with directions and a graph, Which is always helpful, So its a step above all the other ones we have bought and will look for this brand for future purchases. The wife loves this particular one for the colours and style and I believe we will be framing this one when finished. very satisfied with purchase and recommend.

Kit was missing 4 color packages. Tried to find a place in town that sold the dotz but not able to fine any.Unfortunately I did not read the previous reviews. A number of customers that purchased this were also missing colors.

I was disappointed that I did not get enough black beads to finish the picture. It was the major colour in this picture and I only had enough black beads for about 3/4 of the picture. Thankfully it was not the first picture I have done so I have black left over from that one. Make sure you keep any leftover beads from previous diamond arts you do and label them well so if this should happen to you then you have back ups

They weren’t enough diamonds to finish the picture. I had to use half a bag from another project.

I'm glad I have a 4 bead applicator there is lots of black space to fill.I have completed the project. I was hoping the dark background will make the colors POP :) No, too bad. I picked out some of the beads at the top of the wings and replaced with brighter colors from the set. Otherwise, I am happy with this diamond art piece.
