It comes deflated, so be sure you have a pump! I bought this as a gift for my father. It was so light once inflated that I was concerned. But he loved it and nearly broke lamps tossing it around the house on Christmas Day. Again, just be sure you have a pump of some sort!

Great Price and Great Quality!
Okay I have to admit that I didn't read the reviews for this basketball. It arrived on time but I was completely shocked when I opened the box and the ball was deflated! So if you don't have a basketball pump make sure to get one! This was a really good price and it was much cheaper than in the stores. My son loves playing basketball and this ball was perfect for him. Excellent Quality!

Inexpensive decent ball
Doesn't matter how many basket balls we have - the kids always surprise me with their favorites and this is the favorite of the month since we've received it about 5 weeks ago. Holds the air well. Takes the kid abuse (you know - when they use it as a hammer, throw it at a pile of rocks or let the dog try to chew on it). So far so good and would certainly replace with the same if for whatever reason it doesn't last.

Excellent Touch for Outdoor Ball
This ball has a feel like the real NBA indoor ball, which is the reason for my 5-star review. The price is also great for a ball with that kind of touch. The only downside is that I expect the ball to wear very quickly and become a texture-less sphere. Some other balls, like the Spalding "street" series, might hold up better over time. In all, I would say give it a try.

Great for what it is
Be clear about what you're getting here, this is not a top of the line ball used for pristine indoor gyms or leagues. I'd look at a Wilson Evo or Spalding TF-1000, or a Nike Elite ball for that.This, to me, is a beater ball to take to the park everyday that you can use to dribble and shoot with, but no one will ever want to use as a game ball. Where I play, there is almost always (99% of the time) a better ball than this one available to play with. Sometimes you want to play with a good ball, but you don't want to worry about people using it in a different game or people using it when your team loses and has to wait.That's a big reason why I like this ball, I can just relax and toss this ball around and if I end up playing, we will end up using someone else's ball. That sounds selfish and presumptuous, but I've been the "good basketball bringer" plenty of times and sometimes it's just a big hassle.The ball itself is rubber and it feels like it. If you inflate it just enough it will be softer overall but still harder than composite or leather balls. It bounces well and is just a tad heavier than composite balls. I'd say for the price it's a good value, it's round, holds air and like I said, no funny bounces. The paint on the channels and labels is useless, it'll start to wear off immediately. I might look at a composite ball or a Spalding NBA Street ball next, but then again, with a better ball you have more things to worry about.

Showed up quickly at the house. Great condition. Great price since I did find them on sale. I used them as christmas presents and the boys loved it.
