The Brother TN-243BK Black Toner Cartridge is a fantastic product that I rely on for crisp, clear prints every time. The quality is outstanding, and the toner lasts a good amount of time, even with regular use. Installation is easy, and it works seamlessly with my Brother printer, providing rich black text without smudging or fading. The standard yield is just right for my needs, and I’ve never had issues with streaks or inconsistent printing. Very expensive.If you haven't updated the Brother app - don't. As you'll not be able to use any third party cartridges (e.g. from Inkcredible) they'll not work.

I bought this to replace a generic toner cartridge that I had installed in our Brother DCP-L3550CDW colour laser printer. Whilst compatible with the printer, the generic toner cartridges have had bleed issues on printouts and I've spent a lot of time trying to clean-up the print pathway to avoid these issues. The Brother cartridges have none of these problems. Installed this cartridge and it worked perfectly and immediately fixed the colour bleed issue we were having with cyan.The only downside to these cartridges is the price: they are expensive.

My printer finally needed a new toner, so I got a cheaper third-party one, but the printer didn't recognise it.So I ordered this Brother one, works straight away and they give you a label to recycle the old toner.Sometimes it's best to go for genuine replacements, happy with this.

Cheaper than anywhere else and original brother toner - our machine doesn't work with anything else. So much easier to store in the cupboard as all in one box.
