MAYbabe Bedrail for Toddlers.Infants Safety Guardrail, Supports Vertical Lifting. (12''(W) X70''(L) X30''(H))

I stumbled upon this item on Amazon. I never seen an item like this nor have I heard of it. I'm glad I bought it. We have twin toddlers who are in between the age from graduating from thier crib into their own beds. To make life easier we have set of small pack-in-play style cribs in our room where they sleep at night. Sometimes they don't like the crib and want to come to bed and this product gives me peace of mind that they won't fall off. It's a very sturdy product if you know how to install it. I have a thick foam king mattress with a metal fold-out frame ( also purchase from Amazon). The written instructions is confusing and actually wrong, using my better judgment I was able to install this myself. If you happen to have a metal wired bed frame, I would recommend a set of zip ties to help secure this. Otherwise this is a great sturdy product that easily folds away when not in use.

So far I like this product. I wanted to transition my 2 yr old into her big girl bed without the stress of her getting out of bed over and over. So I wanted to basically turn her full into a big crib. There’s a 6 inch gap from it and headboard. Hopefully she doesn’t try to squeeze through. The 78” or 2.0 might have been better fitting but there’s a chance it would have been too big. I got the 1.8 or 70” for the sides. But it would have to be bigger if you went all the way around mattress. Also I got the smallest for the footboard 1.5 or 65” and it is too big. It’s for a queen so I don’t think they have one to fit a full or double, but I made it work by reversing the corners and setting it on the bed frame edge, rather than inside frame. Not all beds have an edge for it to sit on. My platform did. It comes with several nice Velcro straps I used to secure to bed frame. They are visible since it’s not inside frame but no biggy. All in all it will work great. You could use this and never buy a crib if you wanted.

This product is unsafe to use for your child. The guard slides off your mattress with the slightest push, I can’t imagine using this for a an infant let alone a toddler. My mattress is placed on a box mattress, the two anchors of the bed guard are so thin and ineffective, the bedguard just comes off with a little bit of push.Instruction manual is more or less useless as it is written in gibberish.Horrible design with confusing unmarked bolts and screws, knobs that don’t fit, weird dangly fabric that can’t be secured with the velcro straps, unnecessarily heavy poles that don’t contribute to sturdiness at all. I will be returning this item.

This was the tallest bedrail I could find to accommodate our thick mattress. I wanted a safety rail that was high enough over the mattress for a 4 year old and also a 2 year old to keep them safely in bed and the height on this is wonderful. The quality is also great. The collapse/folding feature to lower the rail to bed height is also unique and wonderful. We couldn't secure the rails to our box spring so my husband joined them together with a piece of metal underneath the mattress connecting them so they are secure to each other on each side so they don't slide out. So it would have been nice if a strap or something like that was included for those who can't secure these to a box spring. Overall though, I am very happy with this purchase.

These are amazing if you get all four around your bed you can have a super safe guard if your child sleeps with you because it's all around and they can't roll over the roll or fall through a side Crack and it's tall enough for a young baby, as long as they aren't tall enough to climb over it... Then that would be a problem. It has really easy clasps to put up and put down. Great for bed playpen too. Just have to put it together carefully and measure your bed right we had to get eight of these until we got the right size for our bed but they took returns so it was nice. Takes some effort to put together, lot of parts and if you put it in the wrong order it doesn't work so you have to start over

The heigth and length was the only reason for purchasing this product. We have a six yr old special needs granddaughter who has managed to maneuver her way out of her existing bed rail and land on the floor, even with all the items used to block the gaps, which is a stressful situation because she is non-verbal and in a wheelchair. The previous reviews for this item were negative regarding the instructions (incorrect and confusing). Boy were they ever right!!! Once I slipped the frame into the guard rail cover, we were on our own. We were pleased once we got it all set up, secured (using my husband's logic for the bed) and found the rail to be sturdy - then only to find the the two release buttons to bring the guard rail cover down will not work. I have to use a screw driver to push the lock inward to release it, therefore the end caps can not be inserted. I now wish I had purchased the other model where the release is at each end and not in the middle. If the heigth and length is what you are after, then this bed rail is for you, the rest you'll need to be ready to make it work for your type of bed....

This bedrail is so tall and long and I love it! The only thing I wish were different is if it could he installed on metal slated frames better. I have to have it taped on and it wobbles easily but thankfully hasnt come off. So long as it never comes off the frame I am a happy mommy.

I got it for my toddler and it’s the perfect height and I like it is foldable. Just the only thing is discussing a little is that the ride guard rides off the edge of the mattress but I think all of rail guards have this problem and this is not very big problem because I saw my 9 months son can handle his foot when he stands and he does not get stock.
