Lexerd - Compatible with Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook TrueVue Anti-Glare Laptop Screen Protector

I purchased this product primarily to protect my screen from scratches and scuffs, but was hoping the "anti-glare" property would be helpful when sitting outdoors in the sun or near a strong source of light. Glare is a significant problem with many laptop screens.If the TrueVue Anti-Glare screen protector excels anywhere, it is in preventing glare. Great!What I found very strange is that the protector, although designed specifically for the Dell XPS 13 (presumably the 2015 model), is not fabricated to accommodate the WebCam to the bottom left of the screen! The protector covers up the camera and makes it unusable (unless you modify the protector by removing a piece). Images captured by the WebCam are very distorted which brings me to my second point. The Anti-Glare feature, which does a wonderful job at reducing glare, seems to reduce the image quality and resolution that you are able to view (obviously the laptop screen still has the same number of pixels so it's native resolution does not decrease). I own a Dell XPS 13 QHD+ (3200x1800 resolution) laptop and screen images look noticeably different. I still found the text easy to read, and much easier to read in direct sunlight where I couldn't see anything on the screen because of glare prior to installing the screen protector!When considering the type of screen protector to purchase, you should weigh your options and choose the product that best fits your needs under normal use of your laptop computer.Possibly Lexerd or another company should create an easy-to-use Anti-Glare Screen Protector that you can install/uninstall, as needed.Not integrating Dell XPS 13's WebCam position into the design of the screen protector was a silly oversight in my mind.

I applied this to my Alienware 13 R3, which has an OLED display. I bought this to decrease the reflective nature of the display.Very matte - very good anti-reflective property - can't see my own reflection with it applied.Totally messes up the color - with this screen protector on, my screen looks like a haze of colors. What's white is no longer white, but looks like a sea of dots of different colors. See attached picture. This really messes up the display.Too expensive - $30 for a single piece of plastic - now I feel foolish for having bought it. Most competitors at least give you a second piece of plastic.There's a note in the package soliciting a good review - "If you are dissatisfied in any way with our product/service, please consider contacting us before leaving feedback." I would rather eat the cost of the product, and leave a negative review so that other people think twice before buying this, or at least know what can potentially happen when they apply the product.

I'm not happy with the product. I purchased 2 of these and I have air bubbles underneath. I was extremely careful with the 2nd unit. I wore powder free rubber gloves and I tried to smooth out the bubbles to no avail

I'm happy with this product. Fits the screen perfectly... almost too perfectly so you have the be extremely careful when putting it on otherwise it won't line up right. Once you get through the one-time pain of getting it on, it works like a dream. No more fingerprints or glare!!

Virtually impossible to apply without collecting dirt or bubbles. Gave up and trashed it since a small piece of dirt got underneath and was impossible to remove from the film. At a lower price, I'd be less annoyed.

Dulled colors and visibility of screen far too much. Ended up just removing it. Not replaced yet because unsure any other covering might not do the same.

Does what it says and I like it. but still think it is a little bit expensive

This screen protector fits my new laptop perfectly, and along with giving a sense of safety and still communicating perfectly with the screen, the protector came with silicone fingertip protectors to prevent any damage the screen protector during application
