i bought this for a little project i was doing and was unsure of buying a cheaper one but it performs very well indeed, just one thing to bare in mind is that if you have it turned on for a length of time in the holder it retains the heat around the handle near the beginning of the metal iron bit, so only turn it on when needed then off straight away or pull it out of the holder about 2 cm if using for longer periods, but otherwise good decent size tip that holds tinning solder well and does the job nicely.
