This is the perfect extension for the Go-Pro mounts. It is well made with proper fit. I bought a second one as well as the shorter extension to make a right angle. If you look at others on the web site, you will see silver caps on the threaded ends -- Those are plastic and are too snug for an easy fit. Get these GoTough ones.

Great service from a great company for all of our GoPro accessory needs. We use these at work as do many of our co-workers. The are built for working in high stress applications.

Two things: first, the fingers are machined out of tolerance - the center "finger" on the three-finger end is too wide (I measured it) - it won't fit into a mating part. I had to machine it out so it would fit. Second, the nearly invisible joint between the straight section and the "finger" ends aren't tight - it wobbles slightly. You don't notice it until you get everything else tight, then you can see the looseness between the two components. I bought two of the right angle parts from this brand and they don't fit either - same problem. I had to machine them out too since I didn't have time to ask for replacement parts which I suspect would have the same problem anyway. The parts look nice but they don't fit. I do DOD and aerospace machining - I know quality parts and this isn't one.

This is contracted of three peices screwed together with tiny screws. After a single mountain bike ride the pieces rattled loose. It still Fors for a light mount, but rattle way too much for a GoPro now. Not recommended.

For two bicycles I purchased several of the GoTough GoPro extenders. Out of the first two, one was loose where the joints meet, connected by two tiny screws. This looseness was immediate, new and out of the "box". The other one was "solid", as best as one can expect given that the pieces are connected as they are (the 2 screws). But that one eventually got loose and GoTough sent, at no charge due to the warranty, two more.Now one of them actually broke apart...where the two tiny screws meet.I no longer trust this product and am concerned that what I attach to it may fall off my bicycle when riding due to the design flaw.HSU has a one piece, seemingly flawless, design. This HSU product (I haven't received it yet but I mention it here to save others time) appears to be one aluminum piece with no chance of any tiny screws breaking or coming loose.I would advise against buying this due to the very real possibility of impending rattle or, worse, eventual breakage at its weakest point. Until this company can make a truly one piece Go"Tough", I wouldn't tough it out.

not a great design - it is not a single piece and the two ends are connected to the central extension with screws. After one offroad ride on the motorbike, the unit was loose enough that there's is noticeable lateral flex and rotation of the mount and camera - basically, excessive camera wobble. So I'd suggest looking for a single element extension rather than this.

SI avec les dernières camera la stabilisation intégrée gomme les vibrations, dès que la luminosité baisse on se rend compte que ce support vibre énormément. Dans les faits les quatre parties se dévissent légèrement au fil du temps et prennent du jeu (en moins d'un mois me concernant). Devient rapidement inutilisable d'autant plus que l'accès aux vis est impossible sans un micro tournevis l'accès aux vis étant très contraint.Dommage car les matériaux sont résistants, de qualité et particulièrement adaptés aux contraintes d'installation sur un vélo.

If it was a one piece it would have been great, I bought it thinking it was, there’s 4 tiny screws on each side and they became lose. Couldn’t get them out to thread lock then I was worried about my camera just coming off if the screws fail. There’s other ones that are a solid one piece, get that and no worries
