I purchased this item to remove a tobacco smell from a recently purchased car. The instructions were easy to follow, and the product was simple to apply. Initially, there was a strong hospital- or bleach-like scent that lingered for a few weeks, but it completely eliminated the tobacco odor. Once that scent faded, the car smelled fresh again. It did exactly what I’d hoped for—no complaints at all.

I bought this as a result of several recommendations on a YouTube channel (High Peak Autos) who, to the best of my knowledge, aren't paid to do so (they should be!). Used as per instructions, it completely and permanently eliminated the strong smell of sweat and cigarettes left behind by its previous owner. One possible drawback is that it left a strong smell of chlorine, but this faded as wasn't a problem after a couple of months. After that time, the bad smells did not return. Worth every penny, much more comprehensive a solution to the usual car air fresheners that just leave the problem present and try to mask it.

Did work a bit but not totally. Seems very expensive for an ok job. I was expecting a better new car smell.

Excellent product for removing smells. I spilt petrol in the boot of my car and tried everything, baking soda, wet vacuum, scrubbing. Eventually found this and left it overnight, the petrol smell was gone. It does leave a fairly strong chemical, bleachy smell but that subsided after a month and the petrol never returned. I changed my car and my wife spilt tea in the passenger footwell, it soon left a sour smell, used this again and the smell is gone. Again, pretty strong chemical smell at first but it's already getting less each day. Incredible for getting rid of any hard to remove smell.

I followed the instructions exactly. Instead of becoming a nice gel, it became a violent foam that caused the lid to explode while I was 20 seconds into the 30 second shake instruction. Instead of the pictures from other reviewers, I got clouds of gas pouring out of the tub. When I took the lid off completely the foam started reducing so I put it in the box and put that in the car. Wear gloves, wear a mask, mix it outside. I got a lungfull and I deeply regret it. I wouldn't do it overnight as suggested unless its a warm summer night. This gas needs an optimal temperature between 15-25 degrees. I have done it on a sunny winter morning. I will come back and update the result when it's finished but scientifically speaking, this is CLO2 so I'm pretty confident the smell of russian sweat and cigars that permeates my car will be replaced with the smell of a public swimming bath. /update. Ok so it's been a few days. Slight smell of chlorine in the car but so far none of the old bad smell has returned. This did actually work. And i was quoted £280+ vat to have the car 'ozoned' by a professional company so definitely saved a penny here. Seriously though be careful with this stuff. Feels a bit more unstable than it should.

It was easy to apply, make sure you run the engine for 30 mins after the initial 8 hrs. I run it 15mins with the aircon on, and 15mins without on full blast. My car ventils had a hanging smell of tabacco smell, even though I was assured it was a non-smokers vehicle when I purchased it. Still, I wanted to have my own smell and that is when AirVidox came to play its part. It is a week from when I applied it and it certainly does not smell of any ciggarets any more. But the lingering smell of hospital, chemicals, chlorine is still heavy in the car. Even after applying essential oils, be prepared for the chemical smell lingering for a very long time. I keep airing the car with all windows down, when standstill. Avoid doing this in cold months as I think it'll really take ages to vanish and you don't want to be freezing cold when airing your car. Despite all that, this product does what it says. Thanks.

My son’s car smelt awful (cigarette smoke) we followed the instructions and placed it on card board in the passenger footwell. We did leave it 24 hours and OMG what a difference!!!! I can’t believe how well it worked. The car did smell a little bit of Chlorine after but nothing to noticeable at all. I would recommend changing the cabin air filter as well just to completely irradiate smells but would certainly recommend
