As I have a lung condition I decided to buy an air purifier. I chose the PureMate PM9005W air purifier, for a number of reasons. 1/ Having bought a “PureMate Humidifier” last year and was very pleased with it. 2/ It’s got a 5 point air cleaning system UV light and a HEPA filter, stopping 99.97% of all dust. 3/ came with a 2yr guarantee. 4 / A very Reasonable price. 5/ I love the air quality feature showing Red = Bad, Yellow = ok, Green = Good... It also shows a particle matter number which is the parts per million. 6/ It’s got 3x fan speeds, plus an Auto button (this is what I always use). You can also turn all the lights off for night time and level One is extremely quiet. I’ve had this just over a week now in the living room and am very pleased with it so far.

Best one yet .my wife is on emune suppression tablets so need clean air so great to see it working and results on the front. Would recommend. On auto it gets slightly louder as it cleans the air . Smoker's and 6 cats and it dropped from 567 to 23 in half hour also only 6 p an hour on smart meter.

I was a little concerned initially because there wasn’t a filter with the air purifier that I received, owing to a mistake somewhere along the line, but I contacted the seller who responded promptly and rectified the situation. I went from being disappointed to being very happy with their customer service. I would happily buy from them again.

I bought 2 units PM9005 and PM-520 and got screwed with both. Don't bother contacting the manufacturer, as service is not their strength neither. One unit arrived faulty, making extreme plastic smell all over the space. The 2nd unit worked fine at first, but after a short while started making very high levels of nose, way too much to sleep with. Then I learned that maintenance parts (UV lamp) are not shipped to my country (but they do sell the unit to my country). So my unit is rather useless after a while, due to poor performance the not-existing parts. What a shame! As far as manufacturer claims for "silent unit", this is simply misleading false advertising of a dishonest manufacturer. There are simply no other words to put it. Purmate PM9005 is both large unit and noisy, considering the small area of effect: 30m2. If you wish to sleep with your air purifier on, or even just enjoy a quite conversation on the phone or next to friend, then PureMate is not for you. If it's somewhat quiet at first, it will rather become noisy after just few months. Then, good luck with getting parts or service...

Definitely works the large display on the front tells you exactly what the current air quality is in real time. A bit pricey but I bought under the umbrella of the more you pay the better the equipment. I would recommend this unit because it really does work even on large rooms. Iv got 2 dogs and hay fever plus an eye condition that makes eyes sore and itchy, this unit helps massively. I use it in the living room in the evenings and bedroom at night, 👍

They work OK, however quite a few experience faults - and the puremate warrantee terms are very unusual and not entirely legal (see their website). They make it the responsibility of the customer to pay for the return of a defective item (even if a manufacturing defect within 1 year) and to have the repaired item returned. The cost of this exceed half the cost of a brand new item. One machine experienced a defective particle detector reading always at 600 and level 3 (not a cleaning issue). Another simply became "dead" - not a fuse. Two others are working OK 2 years after purchase, and do give decent air purification (at least based on my allergies).

This is one of the best air purifiers on the market in my opinion. A very sleek design & easy to clean. It has helped my asthma & hay fever enormously this year. It eliminates cooking smells in the home as well. Incredible value for money!

Normally I didn't write reviews and satisfied to use only the stars. I have 3 different model from sharp air purifier which they are leader in air purification , I am more comfort with this one there's no comparison and i believe now that many expensive devices do not worth the price. I bought another one.
