KhombuWomen's Carly Winter Boots Warm Faux Fur-Lined Tall Mid-Calf Height with Dual Zippers

After some debate with myself, I decided to keep these boots. Pros: light weight, thin so they don’t bunch up my work pants, very good traction, easy off and on, pretty good price, faux fur lining is soft and nice. Cons: not very warm, run a little small (I ordered my usual size and it’s a bit small). These are not warm enough for shoveling snow, but I was looking for an easy to put on boot for walking into work and walking the dog. And my top priority is traction, and these have good traction. I decided to keep them and figure I can even wear them on rainy days in the spring. I hope this helps people understand their best features.

I owned another pair from this brand, Khombu, and knew they were one of the only boots I could ever get my foot into. I have a high instep and have never been able to wear boots of any kind because of this - if you have this problem you will know exactly what I am talking about. I never would have attempted to buy boots on-line but because it was this brand, I gave it a try. I needed true WATER PROOF, not Water Repellant, boots for a trip into snow country. I was a little nervous because these did not cost as much as my friends were paying, but these were perfect! Three things made these boots the best: 1. They fit perfectly. Like the other pair I have, they open with a zipper on EACH side of the leg. The higher cut on top (for high instep problem) plus these two zippers make it easy to slide your foot into, even with thick socks. 2. The liner - it is soft and warm, but not so thick that they would be too hot to wear at home. I could get some wear back at home if I wanted to and not just wear them where it was very cold & snowy. Being able to wear them once I got home made them a better buy for me as I could get more use out of them. 3. They are 100% WATER PROOF. I walked through the snow everywhere, sometimes in snow up to the top of the boot, and my feet never got wet! Of course, I didn't try to step into deep water with them, but for snow & slush, they were perfect. When I need more boots, I will go directly to this brand again. Highly recommend them!

True to foot size. The downfall is the opening around the calf fits very large, so wearing these with leggings doesn't look good and it doesn't keep the snow or cold out.

I bought theses boot's for my mother. She has a very difficult time finding any shoe too fit her feet right. Because of her problem with her feet. These boot's fit her with out being to tight. She was so happy thy fit. Thanks

Got these middle of January and here is middle of March. These boots are cute and do the job keeping water out. They are enough to keep my feet warm. The problem is that there isn’t much of an insole two months later and I’ve had to buy inserts. Fits about right on.Update: 12/7/2019Heel in right boots is deteriorating and is open now and has a huge slit with a metal piece exposed. Good thing I had inserts in these or it would have been my heel!!! Pieces of junk.

I needed these for recess duty. I wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 10 for putting on fast and easily. They have zippers on both sides (which is just cool), slip right on, fit great, are waterproof and bonus - are WARM! They are very minimalist in style and look pretty cute. I am pleasantly surprised to say I'd wear them anywhere, not just at recess.

I ordered one pair and they were too small. Went up one size and glad I did. These are perfect for me. Since I have bunion, wide feet and fat calves feel so happy to now own this pair of boots.

I am now wearing these boots every day--I'm looking at more snow falling as I write this. I shopped locally for boots and found none that fit in any size I tried. They also did not look well made. I ordered these boots in my size and they fit perfectly. They were roomy enough to allow for a heavier sock but they were fine with a thin sock, too. The side zippers are great additions but I haven't had to use them--these boots go on easily. I love these boots.

Nice boots, wide calfs. But runs smaller and not wide foot. I recommend 1 size bigger
