Screw has RUSTED!
The pot itself is great - I love the large size. It has a major design flaw however. The screw that holds the knob on the clear glass lid has rusted almost all the way through, and the rust has actually discolored the glass. Why in the world would the manufacturer use a component that would rust on a stainless steel pot??? I cannot find any info about how to contact the seller or manufacturer, but this seems like something they should be willing to replace.

Taking Stock
After taking stock, I can say it is a great pot. Use it in a solar oven, so can see the food through the lid.

The knob is very smooth and tapered so very difficult to remove. A safety issue..I replaced it with a different cookware knob. Very lightweight so would only use for soups.
