My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks

Absolutely the best movie I have seen in a while. It was even better than the first one, not to say that the first movie wasn't great either. But this movie puts a bigger emphases on high school life with a magical twist to it. I won't go into detail about this movie and spoil it for anyone reading this review, but I have to say that this movie really did inspire me to do something's that I have been holding off on for years. It's also recommended that even if this movie was better than the first one, you still need to at least watch the first season of the TV show, then watch the first movie before you watch the second movie. Trust me, it's well worth the wait and effort.

bought this cause i wanted to rewatch my favorite childhood movie, and now im never going back i hate when the characters look into my eyes with that condescending smirk as if they'd just stolen my kidney without my knowledge, but i love them all very much and the music is so good that i cant stop hearing it in the back of my head (help)

I was pleasantly surprised already when taking it out of the shipping packaging; it has a gorgeous sparkling outer paper cover! :D The movie itself is awesome, but there is so much more... It has special features such as audio commentary by Megan McCarthy and Jayson Thiessen, among others. (The audio commentary is the main reason why you should buy a physical copy of the movie.) It also has the teaser shorts leading up to the movie that The Hub uploaded to youtube, which is nice to have offline. I'm not making a review of the movie for now, but rather the product. I might go back and make a review if I feel like it some time.

OMG, this is the best movie ever! Granted, I've never seen it since im driving the car and my kids watch it from the rear screen, but we know all the songs and the story line is awesome. Must watch! Even my son likes the movie, so we all sing "Battle of the Bands" together in the car ! Must watch

Equestria Girls 1 was a very shaky and ultimately mediocre movie. That meant that expectations for a sequel (in most cases inferior to the original) were not very high, to say the least. However, Rainbow Rocks is genuinely one of the best pieces of MLP related media out there. A great story with characters you can easily empathise with, tons of heart, nice looking animation and an amazing soundtrack by Daniel Ingram. If you're a fan of My Little Pony you owe it to yourself to watch this movie, even if you disliked the first Equestria Girls movie as I did.

Good movie. Love the series. Better than the first, much more fun. Sunset shimmer made an awesome improvement. The villains, the dazzling were quite interesting. Loved sonata. It's taco tuesday! Buy this movie. before you do that, watch the first film. Cause, this picks off right were the first one ended. This movie is alsone on netflix, same with the first film.

It's one of the most awesome movies ever. I got it on DVD. When a friendly showcase turned into a music battle, the Rainblooms are the only ones who can save the day when a trio of singers try to destroy friendship. But, soon with the help of Sunset Shimmer, they managed to work together to bring everyone together. It's the best one since the first Equestria Girls movie.
