Good filter, I use it as a post RO membrane water filter, been using it for few years, I replace it once a year, never had a problem with it.

As good as others that cost more
Like this one because it's just as good as many others that are more expensive. However it is small and truly only last 3 months with hard water (hardness rating of 9)

Love this filter
I replace my refrigerator filter each year with one of these. I have the quick-release setup which plugs right into these. So easy. I have used these for years and am so much happier with the taste. Our tap water in Los Angeles really doesn't taste bad; but this filter makes it taste so much better!

everything is working and the ice is great.
Looked for a filter to replace my Culligan IC-101 using my same quick release connections that were not useable on the Culligan IC-101A that has replaced for the IC-101. Ordered Pentek IC-101L, removed fittings from old Culligan, added new teflon tape to old fittings for tighter fit and 'Eureka", everything is working and the ice is great.

Great for ice maker, and cold water from the fridge.
I've uses many of these and they are excellent at filtering and taste for my fridge water supply.
