Allegro Tea, Organic Splendid Oolong Tea Bags, 20 ct

One of the pleasant Chinese teas that we enjoy. Smooth, gentle taste.

My husband really likes this sort of tea. He bought some also for my mother in law and she also liked it. It has a more robust flavor. I prefer green tea but I'll drink it when I have it. Good with honey.

It was a good value for your money it came super fast and was fresh the only thing I didn’t love was the tea has a bitter taste to it. I did use 2 tea bags and that might have been why.

This tea is the nostalgic flavor of Chinese restaurants growing up. It is black tea, and you have to brew it in HOT water - hotter than what comes out of your water dispenser or keurig. Boiling hot water is needed to bring out the full flavor of this tea, and when it does you’ll know what I’m talking about (compared to the dispensed hot water). This is hands down my favorite black tea and Allegro is the only brand I can find that matches my memories. I used to buy it locally from Whole Foods but they no longer carry Allegra coffee or tea products, unfortunately.

Takes a minute to get used to but then it’s ok!

My mom & I used to always get oolong at the Chinese restaurant in the little town we lived in when I was young. Sometimes we could go through 3 pots! And this tea is so very nostalgic for me. I just had my first cup. Used the keurig for 6oz of hot water. Added 1 tea bag. Steep was fast and strong! Will most likely be repeating this purchase!

Delicious tea. The USPS forgot to mark it as delivered so they say it is running late. I DID receive my order on the day it was out for delivery.

It has a oolong taste which is great but in order to get it a nice flavor and strength, I need two bags. I tried one bag with the correct amount of water and it still tasted a little watery. I recommend going to a tea store instead. 5/10
