This is a nice coated, durable wire leash with an especially comfortable padded handle. I also like that it fastens with a carabiner instead of the normal fastener. This company seems to think about the little details as well as the usual functions.

I ordered this for my mom new puppy. He chews everything!! The handle is padded and seems very sturdy. There is a nice big carabiner that is easy to open and attach to the dog harness. So far seems to be working out.

My dog has chewed through tens of leashes, and I was worried I'd have to start using a large, bulky, chain style leash to walk him. But then I found this leash! So far, it's held up well to his chewing. There are a few dents in the plastic covering, and the black covers seem to be his favorite part to chew on. They have become a little loose and move up and down the leash occasionally. However, I don't think that diminishes the 5 stars, because my dog is truly a maniac and I'm just glad to have found something that works!

I want to first say, that it's very strong and my dog can't chew through it. I love the quality no doubt and I would buy again and tell others to do the same. That being said, if they made it with an extra handle down lower it would make this a 5 star. It's a little awkward to handle without the extra handle that should've been added down low closer to the dogs collar, because if the line isn't fully extended then it drops to the ground and the dogs foot gets tangled, so having that extra handle would make it easier to prevent this because the line is so skinny and hard to grab and hold onto.I'm editing this because I want to let everyone know that this is a great company. They gave me a full refund when I didn't even ask for one or want one. I'm very impressed with the customer service, so please, if anyone reads this review, don't think the product is bad because it's not, it is tough enough to keep my full size German shepherd male from chewing though it!

I needed something my Australian Shepherd could NOT chew through and this was it!!!Worked like a charm bought them for all three dogs.

If this leash were properly finished, I would have given it a 10, but It's not, so I gave it a 3!This is a wonderful product. It is well made, sturdy, attractive and highly functional, BUT it is NOT finished properly!Look at the aluminum ferrule (See Photo) that crimps the cable as it exits the handle, it is sharp enough to cut you and it did. This morning I took my dog out for a walk and after seeing a rabbit she took off after it jerking the leash through my fingers tearing an avulsion wound between my middle and index fingers as it did. (No picture, I hate violence). I came back in dripping blood... NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!My point is that if the ferrule had been chamfered and smoothed it would not have been a problem.I will file it down and sand it smooth, a process the manufacturer could have easily done in mass in a vibratory tumbler, but somehow overlooked. Disappointing!That being said, it's a great leash for dogs who chew their leashes or as a chew proof tie-out.

It looks great and the padded handle is terrific. My dog has tried chewing it but it's still perfect. The only thing is if your dog is wild like mine, having the leash catch the back of your legs mid-zoomy is a little worse than a fabric leash, and you can't really wrap the leash around your hand if you need to shorten it.

I brought this because my dog kept chewing up her cloth leashes. She chews on this but hasn't been able to break it. It's light weight which is great since she is a small dog and durable.

My dog has managed to chew threw so many leads especially as she is still young and chews everything. This lead is short for everyday walks but great for sitting places training my dog in place without worrying she will dissappear , the peace of mind makes it excellent value for money as the lead is thick plastic with wire and metal built in.

My 5 month old labradoodle has chewed through all of his leads so struggled to find something that lasted. This is brilliant. The handle is soft and the lead is a good length. He hasn't even attempted to chew through it. Great product, high recommend.
