Viper Sure Grip Soft Tip Darts

They are a good set of beginners darts. I do like these better than some of my more expensive sets but also have a set in the same price range that I do like better but it’s more about the grip preference than accuracy.

I have a Viper soft tip dart board that's probably fifteen years old now, but is in like new condition. I never used it much when it was first gifted to me, but when my kids became old enough to be interested, it became a great go-to toy. They could still get hurt with these darts, but not nearly as much as metal tipped darts, so this is a good choice for responsible and supervised kids in my opinions. However, the stock darts that came with the board were fraying, and the tips were broken on a few. Plus, I wanted cooler looking darts.These fit the bill for the cool factor, and they have a nice weight to them. What I'll say is that they do take a little getting used to. While I rarely have a mis-hit on a stock dart that came with the board, these do bounce out on occasion. I imagine it will improve as I get used to them, but it was a surprise when it happened for the first time.Long story short, these are nicely weighted, seem good quality, and were a good value for the fun factor. Only down side - tip broke off one of these even quicker than the stock darts - could have to do with the weight, but you'd think in today's day and age we could manufacture a tip that could handle this type of play without breaking!

Sure Grips are awesome to throw. I have 6 sets! I'm a woman with small hands. No more using wax, I can throw more accurate for not thinking about finger slipping on other smoother darts. They are balanced well when the shaft that comes with them is left on. I would definitely recommend these.

I throw darts in a league and have always thrown 16gr but decided I wanted to try 18's being as everybody else throws those it seems. There is and was an adjustment period going to heavier but I haven't had any real problems. I have the green 16gr that I've been using for a couple of years so I'm expecting decent longevity out of these also. For the money you can't go wrong. I have more expensive darts but I find myself always coming back these in both weights.

These are ice darts with a good grip. Nice weight to them

The shaft actually bent and even broke so not very durable but please take into consideration they're kids and beginners but overall still got em and the grips are nice thanks

If you're not a big time PRO at playing darts then there's no need to waste big bucks. These Viper darts are awesome, in fact my friends liked them so much that they bought the same thing. The "Sure Grip" really helps accuracy and they fly perfectly. I recently bought the Viper Orion Dart Board and it's absolutely phenomenal !Combine the two Viper products and you're sure to have endless fun for a very long time. I have used the same set of Sure-grip darts since the early 90's...I interchange between standard steel tips and electronic board plastic tips, and I couldn't say just how many times I have replaced the rubber grips and the flights. I have never been disappointed, and have had friends switch, due to liking mine. I am reading complaints about the tips bending and breaking...yes, they are going to do that, and when they do you remove it, and replace it with a fresh one, the same goes for the flights, and the rubber sleeves...all are easily replaceable. Some of the reviews even sounded like the consumer was trying to use this set-up with a standard bristle board...yeah...that ain't gonna work. If you want to throw at a standard board you are going to need a set of steel tips.

One of a few sets I added for the home dart board we put in for when company come over. Easy to put together and no major issues with them at all. Have extra points on hand for when the dart and the electronic board don't like one another and bounce outs happen. Love the soft grip area on these ... my wife's favourites.Overall a nice price for a very good purchase.

Fast shipping great darts

We bought these to go with our Viper 787 dartboard. Nice weight and fly straight. The tips will bend eventually but I am happy with how well they have stood up so far.

They seems to be good darts. To bad they never came with more tips.
