I've used this shampoo for about a year now and I won't buy anything else. I have very oily hair and this cleans so well that I wash my hair every 2 days. Another thing I noticed is hair growth. It's not a huge growth, but I have extremely thinning hair since I am a diabetic. You can actually feel your hair squeeking clean as you rinse it out. It's pricey but worth it to me. I love the conditioner as well, but don't use it often as I don't want it to make my hair too oily. I don't buy the foam because it sticks to my hair after I blow dry it and makes my hair look greasy. So all I like is the shampoo and the conditioner.

I purchased this shampoo based on the reviews. It is wonderful. The lather is great. It suds up well. My fine hair feels thicker. Plus my hair does feel clean It is expensive but worth every penny. I will buy again!

I definitely wanted to write a review of this shampoo. I know a lot of women complain of thinning or shedding hair. I also have these issues. Only been using this for a week, but so far, I really like it. It smells good and has a mild scent. It makes your hair squeaky clean, literally, it will squeak when you rinse it out. It feels like salon shampoo, not everyday store bought shampoo. I do notice that it makes my hair seem fuller. Not sure why that is, but I do notice it. I bought it because I heard it helped with shedding. Haven't seen that yet; I still lose a lot of hair when I wash it. But I know this line has other products which I plan to add slowly. It is a little pricey but if it gives great results, I'll stick with it. It does I think, dry my hair out a little so I[m watching that too to see if it's an issue.

I Ordered this for my daughter, who is 18, and who has suffered from hereditary "pilar cysts" that form on her scalp. She has other scalp issues, possibly related to her Hashimotos Thyroiditis, that have been causing inexplicable hair shedding and an overall overactively oily and inflamed/dandruff afflicted scalp since age 9. I have tried many things including prescription, detergent-like shampoos that have not helped much with the hair loss and scalp. However, I find it very interesting that her pilar cysts, which usually had to be surgically removed, have begun to remedy on their own since using this product. There are two things I can possibly attribute this to: 1. Using an otc "hair vitamin" that contains biotin (she has used these before and never had much effect, and never affected the cysts) 2. This shampoo. As I said, she has suffered with these cysts for a decade and tey never remedy themselves, and always get to the point where we have to regrettably have them surgically removed by a dermatologist. She had one just "burst" on its own (did not notice, just saw a small scab that took a few weeks to go away). Now, a second one, which ironically reappeared after two surgical interventions in the same spot, has begun to soften and look similar to the one that had burst. I am hoping that this shampoo is the reason and that it is somehow causing the cysts to break down. This is just my theory, but if you suffer from these blasted awful things, you will know that if it can save you from a trip under the knife, it would be great. The cyst that ruptured healed as well or better than the surgically excised ones she has had. As far as a shampoo, while I do not see a huge difference in hair growth or dandruff, her oily hair is cleaner and healthier looking post use. I do not bother with the mousse-like step of this program or the conditioner, which is not very detangling. The shampoo is great. Nice scent that isn't bothersome or overly medicinal and it lathers very well on her very thin hair, making it easier to clean the scalp.

Using this the 1st day and can already see the fullness and healthiness of my thinning hair. I also have the conditioner for the system 2. Though this was a lot of money, the bottle will go a long way. Very happy with my purchase.

This shampoo is awesome. I use it every four shampoos to keep the build up of hair spray, pollen, and other shampoos and cream rinses away.

Listen, I don’t usually get emotionally attached to shampoo, but Nioxin System? We’re basically in a committed relationship now. It’s not the cheapest shampoo out there, but that also usually means it actually WORKS!… if you’re tired of your hair looking like it’s going through an existential crisis, this is the stuff. I started noting in my phone notes how much hair was falling out after every shampoo, because it used to be a lot. And after 7 times of using this I was down to just 2-3 hairs instead of a handful!! After a month, I swear my hair started staging a comeback tour. 85% of people said it thickens—I’m pretty sure the other 15% just weren’t using it right. My hair feels fuller, denser, and way less sad. Like, it finally RSVP’d to the party on my head and brought friends. I also didn’t have to use nearly as much as I used to: a much smaller amount of it lathers up JUICY!!! So good! So I’m not going thru it nearly as fast as I thought I would! And it smells great: no strong smell to it really as all. The real MVP here is the scalp situation. This shampoo is like a juice cleanse, but for your follicles. It gently kicks out all the gunk and leaves your scalp feeling fresh, not like you just scrubbed it with regret and bad decisions. Plus, with niacinamide and biotin in the mix, it’s basically feeding your scalp a five-star brunch. Is it magic? No. Is it science wrapped in a fancy bottle that actually works? Absolutely. Final verdict: it’s easy to use, effective, and My hair’s thicker, my scalp’s happier, and I no longer cry in the shower. 10/10 would lather, rinse, and repeat.

Help stabilize your hair if experience early hair loss . Good quality shampoo for men , leaves hair feeling clean . I use it everyday and I think it has helped with hair loss . It is not a miracle cure but will help reduce thinning . A good option for after a hair transplant .

Great product especially in winter for a dry scalp. Really takes the itch away and gives you a clean scalp. As for helping thin hair, It may help a bit, but i wouldn’t say I had any dramatic results. One thing about this product is our hair benefits from the fact our scalps aren’t itchy or dry. If we’re always scratching we could damage a hair follicle. I would buy it again and recommend these products to anyone needing to smooth the scalp.

Controls hair dandruff, fungus really well. Also works for hair fall. Smells good.👍
