Video is pink, and audio isn't synced with video
I tested this out before I mounted it, and I'm glad I did, because it had two flaws I found unacceptable.One was that the audio was about 5 seconds out of sync from the video in the files it put on my SD card. I tested this by making a video of myself clapping my hands together once. When I put the SD card in my PC and played it (I tried in both VLC and SMPlayer), the sound of my hands hitting happened 5 seconds before the sight of them coming together.The other was that the color in its video was off. I attached two screengrabs from video on the SD card to show the problem. In those, the bedspread is a royal blue and I'm wearing normal blue jeans, yet they look purple. I'm holding up a white sheet of paper (sorry it's cut off) yet it looks pink. I'm wearing a light grey shirt with red sleeves and the colors are off there, too. This was in a room lit by natural light only on a bright day. No electric lights were on. But I also tested at night under incandescent lighting and had the same problem.There are contrast and brightness adjustments in the settings, but they didn't help. No setting for hue adjustment.I think this is a widespread flaw in the sensor used by a lot of these hidden cameras. I'd also ordered a clock radio camera and a nightlight camera, and they have the same pink hue to their video too. For the mobile app, all three used either HDMiniCam or P2PLiveCam, both of which are published by the same author (gang.zhang) and are functionally identical. So I think you're likely to encounter this color issue with any cam that uses either of those apps.If you can live with those flaws, then I think this will be fine for you, but I expected better for this price.One other thing to note: I think this definitely looks enough like a real smoke detector that no one would be suspicious of it, but it's not as big around as the standard Kidde smoke detector I have now. So if you took a real smoke detector off the ceiling and mounted this in its place, there'd probably be a visible ring of unfaded ceiling paint around it.

Video is terrible, the angle is awful, the material is CHEAP!! Do not waste your time or money..
