Good quality
Good quality and reasonable price. When you use it, for best result, try to place accurately stamp on the marking surface. Exactly perpendicular, to have a full imprint

Works as advertised, alignment can be tricky.
Does what it is supposed to do. Imprints clearly on metal and wood. Downside is that I found it hard to maintain alignment during pull-back. For single letters where position is not critical it is fine. If you want an accurate, evenly spaced layout it may be better to use standard stamp with a hammer. Risk of double tap may occur with this. If anyone has a method to keep letters aligned please post your technique.

Think Again
You know this is one of those things that seem like a great idea and it would be if it actually worked right. Think about this ( I wish I had) you are trying to hold the die steady while you are pulling up against a heavy spring to which the die is attached. See the problem. It is difficult to get a good impression because the action of lifting against the spring tends to move the die around. It will work better on soft surfaces such as wood but on metal not so good. So I wish I had just purchased the die set without the spring part.. It would have worked better. This product is a good idea that just doesn't work. They should give these away. I am sorry I bought mine.

Good quality but not practical
The tools are good quality as well as the case, but the letters/numbers are on the larger side. Thus combined with the spring hammers lack of power makes it unable to mark steel. It can barely mark aluminum.

Great idea. Not as easy to use as hoped for.
Other reviewers tried to tell me, but I had to see for myself. Sure enough. Great idea. Well built, sturdy, excellent quality. Sadly, it just doesn't work like expected. At least not on hard surfaces. May be fine for softer metal, but even then, it is harder to use than expected.
