1998 Mercedes SL500 - blower quit blowing!!!
Received this part, exactly what I ordered and what I needed. Good quality product. I pray that I never need to replace another one, but that happens when you have OLD cars!!!

only works for 1 month
this is my fourth blower motor regulator that i put in a 2000 Mercedes sl500. they only work for 4 to 6 weeks. they start to turn on and off, stay running all the time(kills battery)or not work at all. unfortunately there the only game in town. part is discontinued, hopefully 4 times is a charm.

Need to modify base to attach to the heat sink but works well so far
2001 sl500 had problems with fan control. This seems to work but had to rip/scrape off the old unit from thr top of the blower motor housing and I ziptied this one so there is a good connection to the heat sink. Caution it gets extremely hot when testing so do not touch metal exposed part when handling it after it has been plugged in and working even for under a minute
