There is tartar on my lower teeth. After checking, my dentist told me that the tartar was accumulated because the inside of the teeth can not be reached when I brush my teeth. Luckily, it was not very serious. For now, I don't want to do the ultrasonic cleaning at my dentist, so that I found this device to remover my tartar. Amazing!This device does work.My tooth surface is now much smoother after use. I hope that if I used it regularly, the tartar will not be piled up again. The LED lights which are used to irradiate the mouth need to be turned on separately, and it is a bit troublesome to change the two metal heads. But the manual mentioned that the two metal heads are used in different places of the teeth, I tried them and found they both are so good. I might consider buying a few more for my friends as Christmas presents.

I was very excited when I first time use this to clean my tartar.I handle it very carefully.It works.I just lazy to make appointment with my dentist,i don’t have much time to wait there.My teeth not too dirty,I can do it myself.It’s a good choice.i like it!

Very sleek design which makes it easy to hold. The little light makes it easy to see where to clean. And the pick is gentle. I am very satisifed with this product.

Removed plaque, does require work time and effort, plaque chips away slowly even at the dentist. not as powerful as dentist tool, has LED to see back of front teeth.

This plaque remover works so well! It has two different pick sizes to choose between, and a few different speed settings so you can decide what kind of cleaning you are going to perform. I had some light calculus build up that was turning a bit dark, likely due to regular coffee drinking, and I wanted it gone. After the first use I was able to clear the calculus off my tooth, and the next day I removed all the remaining tartar off my lower front. I was able to remove actual pieces of tartar which had been stuck on for a while. This is by no means a replacement for the dentist, as someone with social anxiety and fear of the dentist, this helped until I can build the courage to go in. I am usually always skeptical when buying stuff so I try to thoroughly research and read all the reviews before I buy, so hopefully this helps someone else out as well. I have both this model (DS2) and the previous (DS1) model, and while both work great - this version has a bit of an edge.

there is no way I could use this device between my teeth. Trying to find alternative use. But good customer service
