Beistle Movie Reel Filmstrip Centerpiece

Yes, it is flimsy. I had to put icing on the top and bottom to try and hold the top reel part down. As you can see in the picture when my customer reached their destination the top had popped back up. The bottom as well. It's just not in the pictures. The pictures are of a 1/2 sheet with a double 8 inch on top. The reels were made with (3) 8.5" x 11" sugar sheets, four border strips on each sheet with 7 pics showing on each strip. Took five and half strips to do bottom and used the rest to do the top 8 inch. Overall my customer was extremely happy with final product.

Used this for a recent Oscar party centerpiece. It’s lightweight so we added a stick to place in our centerpiece and give it height, we unrolled a little of the “film” to drape down and added empty candy boxes, some 3-d glasses and had a hit! Everyone commented how cute it was! We had some real movie reels but they were to heavy to use in the Centerpiece. We ended up using those on the table as props and this blended very nicely with the real thing! The diameter is great but be aware it is a little thicker in depth then most real movie reals.

It was perfect for kids to treat teacher like a Star and wrote notes on film strip with their pictures next to note... she loved it and kids too. The black film reel was not as strong but worked fine... nothing broke etc...

I was honestly expecting something just a touch more realistic looking. This is very obviously fake. But it was still fun decor for a movie night.

Very thin and plastic very cheap. This item should be 3.00 instead of 8.50.

I had a fiftieth birthday party for my husband & I bought 2 of these. Our theme was thru the years. I used one as a table centerpiece on our food table & the other one for part of my cake I made. It was a big success and everyone loved it.

Very flimsy plastic. Worth about 99 cents.
