Thomas Keating offers pilgrims of the inner journey another exceptional guidebook. If you have not yet read any of his work or many of them, Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit is well worth savoring.

Abbot Keating gives a deep reflection on the gifts of the holy spirit including the gifts of understanding, counsel, and wisdom. Especially moving is his sharing of spiritual experiences of the Divine Presence of God such as when he felt God's great love and acceptance of him, and all life.He literally jumped for joy for one to two hours.

The book, fruits and gifts of the spirit by Thomas Keating, was in excellent shape. The only sign of it being used was that the name at the top, the persons name, at the top was cut off neatly. I am very pleased with the book.

I'm truly moved. That is because I found the Words that I couldn't find in any other way. With gratitude from the bottom of my heart.

I bought this book for a friend of mine who is in a Centering Prayer group with me. Our group is reading Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit after our periods of meditation. Of all of the books by Fr. Thomas Keating that we have read, this one is our favorite! We always have great discussions after reading sections of the book.

An easy read that packs a punch. A kind of marriage between clinical Psychology and Theology. Keating gives us access to the profound in simple doses.

A clear and very readable guide to awaken our inner self and re-embark on a journey of love, peace and hope. Highly recommended.

So many people do not see the fruits and the gifts as being related but they are. One can not function in the fullest way of God's desires in the Gifts of the Spirit without being full of the fruits.

His personal journey and experience illustrate well the work of the Spirit. The challenge is to recognize and name that experience in our own life.

Absolutely wonderful read. Highly recommended for seminarians and all the faithful who are actually seeking Him and themselves. One of the very best by Fr. Thomas.
