This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Now I do not have to bother to convert inches to cm or mm. Very convenient

THIS is the ruler to buy for your child. Most rulers have a little gap then a zero line. This one has zero right at the edge of the ruler. That makes a HUGE difference for young students. It is so much easier for them to like the edge of the ruler with the edge of the item to measure. Then the fractions are LABELED!! Game changer!!!It is made from high quality plastic and is durable.

This ruler packs a lot of info into a small space without seeming cramped and it lives up to the claim of being easy to read. The colors make it easy to focus on just inches or just metric. On the inches side, it's awesome that they managed to squeeze in the numbers for the 16ths - this makes it a lot easier for me to avoid mistakes. (There's even one inch at the end that's numbered in 32nds.) Also, because the numbers grow in size with the larger fraction, it makes it easier to pick out just how accurate you want to measure. The white isn't especially bright but the matte finish help to remove reflections. The plastic itself is fairly stiff and can be bent about 1.5". The only real drawback is that like most plastic rulers, it doesn't start at 0", so you have to line everything up with the 0 mark. On the metal ruler, it starts at 0 but the edges are a bit sharp (easy fix with a file). Also, the metal ruler has cork on the bottom which lifts the metal ruler about 1mm off the item being measure which could introduce some marking errors.

Arrived súper quick, just what I need and the quality feels great.

This ruler is just what I was looking for. However, it comes with a label, which has to be chiseled off with your thumbnail, leaving a sticky residue. I used Goof-Off to clean it up. However, why can't the manufacturer use a label that peels off easily?

I haven't actually used this exact one. However, I have used my SIL's and love it. It's the reason I bought this one!

We purchased these for the kids for school supplies. The numbers and markings are clear and easy to read. My daughter would like an option of different colors, you know other than black and blue. Perhaps purple and pink for the girls! LOL
