My students' desks are numbered so before a quiz or test I have them put their cell phones in the corresponding slot. Every teacher who comes into my classroom wants one! I really like this purchase. The media could not be loaded.  Assembly. It does not come with assembly instructions, however, if you look at the image of the product and the pieces, it is not rocket science to put it together. I had it together in roughly 10 minutes. I would say most people with a little common sense could assemble this without the instructions.Usage. I purchased this to store cell phones in my classroom. My only concern was if the slots would be big enough to accommodate phones with bigger cases. My phone, with its case, fit perfectly. I have a wallet case with several things in it. I know it will fit my students phones when the time comes.Sturdiness. The material is not real wood but it's not the worst thing ever. It's fairly weighty and seems to be pretty darn stable. The rubber bands, if you want to call them that, work well holding it together. Nice and snug.Only time will tell how it will hold up in the classroom. I may update this if something completely unexpected happens.Overall, I am pleased with it for the price I paid. I plan on using it to hold students cell phones and that's pretty much it.

Bought this for my high school classroom. Our district does not allow 9th graders to have phones in class so this makes a great designated spot for the kids to put the phones and for me and students to keep an eye on them. Works better than a basket where all the germy phones get dumped together. My kids don’t love it, but I’m an equal opportunity phone-taker-awayer so they get used to it just fine :)

I bought this to stop my students from using cell phones in class. I keep it on my desk and they put their phones in the holder when they enter the class. Each spot is wide enough to accommodate bigger phones even with a Pop Socket on them. It was easy to put together following the images in the instructions and it's really sturdy. I do wish there was a smaller, less expensive size I could use for my smaller classes but this works fine.

I use this for my ink pads from a certain company (SU). They fit perfectly and are easy to see and slide in and out.

Bought the storage unit for the purpose of using as a phone holder in my classroom. Product is made of flimsy "balsa-wood" like material & unassembled without directions or pictures for assembly. Supposed to put together by inserting wooden pieces together into slots then use rubber ring bands to hold together. Complete waste of money! Returned it immediately.

No instructions were included on how to assemble the piece. I'm using to putting models together, so it was easy to figure out how to assemble. But other might not find it so without at least a diagram. It's very sturdy for what I needed it for.
