Tripod does seem a little flimsy but it's only supposed to hold your phone and Osmo Pocket so nothing real heavy. Seems like it's going to work just fine in my opinion. The Osmo Pocket bracket is real nice and made out of cast aluminum I think, but anyway it should last a long time.

Tripod is flimsy, but bracket is solidly designed with aluminum and a black paint finish. Phone and OSMO Pocket clamps have foam padding to minimize scratches, however, C-clamp for OSMO Pocket was much too narrow and needed user modification (bend out clamp wide enough to accept the camera). If you are not inclined to perform this mod, a plastic bracket might be a better choice.

Ordered this item not expecting it to be as good as it turned out. I didnt care for the tripod as it feels cheap and flimsy. The mount, however, is high quality, beefy, and provides ample support for both your phone and your Osmo Pocket! You can now NOT worry about the physical connection between the two! Well worth the $ even without the cheaply made tripod! The mount itself has threading so you can attach to a tri/mono pod, and there's a hot shoe up top to attach an aftermarket mic or light. I love it!

I bought this tripod to use with my DJI Osmo Pocket. It worked for about 6 hours and then the screw stopped tightening the ball that moves the head. I tried every which way to re-tighten the tripod but to no avail. This product started out useful but ended up useless.
