Does the job
It is what you expected to be, it is well insulated and becouse the inner tube is perforated also damping the noisethe only thing I don't like about it is, is clearly cut from a longer hose then the inert and outer tubes are taped together with duct tape on each end, so is a bit non professional in my opinion

Very good quality
Have used this as an exhaust pipe for our portable air con unit. The original pipe (just plastic) got very hot and surely must have been putting heat back into the room (not what you want)…so I purchased this. It’s a bigger pipe so had to cut a bigger hole in the wall…not a drama as wanted to upgrade from 4 inch to 6 inch anyway. The pipe doesn’t even feel warm when it’s on. It’s nice and thick and insulated well. It could be cut shorter although (and I’ve done it before with another) it is a bit of a faff…but if you want it done properly. Very pleased with this purchase

16dB Noise Reduction!
Didn't have high hopes this would work, but I'm delighted that a 1.2m length of this ducting reduced the sound level from our bathroom extractor fan by approx' 16dB at 1m distance. The ends are sealed which made fitting easy.

You can get cheaper and longer in different shops.
Hmm, I'm disappointed with this product, especially after I subsequently bought an alternative 10m and also insulated product at a similar price, at a local DIY store. This product is shorter, has an outer plastic coating that tears very easily, and has holes inside the pipe through which you can see the mineral wool (this wool is very irritating to the skin)???? I have no idea what they are supposed to be used for, but in my opinion it eliminates this product as a fresh air supply. Personally, I regret the purchase and would not buy it again.

Impressive insulation properties
OOPPEN 6 inch&2.5m Low Noise Duct Silencer Insulated Aluminum Air Duct Flexible Ventilation Ducting Hose NoiseI already had one of those white plastic foldable (clicking noise) hose, but purchased this one because the white plastic one was loosing a lot of heat and hence making it really inefficient. This item solved that issue, as it is extremely well insulated, meaning if you have a portable air-conditioning unit this hose will allow you to exhaust the waste heat further along and more efficiently. And has stayed cool even when cooling a room at 35*c - for me that was the litmus test. It is plastic on the outside and aluminium on the inside, just be careful as the ends can damage easily when trying to connect or when connected and applying force as you extend the hose.Yes it is an eye sore, big grey hose running around your premise, not exactly zen like.mind you it was difficult to attach it to the back of the air-con unit. I had to purchase some Gorilla tape to attache the two, as with the previous white hose it kind of screwed into the plastic hard casing.Click below if this review was helpful. 🙏 Thanks.

As described
Working well so far as part of a bathroom fan installation. The inner is perforated and is very thin, the support is in the PVC outer which contains the wire. The 4" perforated inner does not have wire, or a backing, and is directly surrounded by the fibreglass layer. So far I have not had any trouble with glass fibre strands coming through the perforations into the airflow (and maybe eventually blocking the flyscreen.) Conversely, I've also not had any trouble with the fibreglass getting sodden with moisture from the bathroom via the perforations. Personally, I would prefer a backing to the perforated inner and for the wire support coil to be part of the 4" inner. But as I say, it's working fine for now and is as described. On arrival, the ends are made off with duct tape. Not particularly neatly done, but probably OK if you need the exact length supplied.
