My 8 year old is a huge Descendants fan. Getting her to read in her free time has been a nightmare, but she knocked this book out pretty quick and has reread it multiple times

Loved it so much that now I want to rewatch the entire descendants serious

Good book for kids reasonably priced it came not damaged

My daughter bought this book to help with her obsession with Descendants. She said it was good, but not as good as the show.

So I read Isle of the Lost and was looking forward to the novelization of the movie. I was expecting something more in the style of IotL so maybe that was my mistake. This was honestly just the movie in prose form. It didn't add anything, and it didn't go further into the characters thoughts and hopes. I loved how IofL changed perspective every chapter to get you into the characters' heads. This was enjoyable, which is why I gave it 4 stars, and I don't regret buying it, but I would never spend full price on it, and I think there was a lot of missed potential.

My daughter loves everything descendants so this book was much loved by her

This is more of a teen book as far as difficulty. I bought it because my 7 year old niece liked the movie so I thought she would like the book but I am afraid it might be a little to difficult for her reading level. With it saying it was a junior novel I thought it meant a younger age but probably more of an age range of 10-13. Nice hard cover though and interesting, unique font. I think she may enjoy it more in a year or too though.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She was very happy she got it! I wish it was in just a little better condition.

It's ok but not very exciting for my daughter who.loved the film.
