Can it be used for a cold sore around your nose?

DEFINITELY - I use it up my nose when I've got chapped skin round the inside of my nose due to having a cold infection - definitely the place where cold sore virus will take advantage. And this is definitely for treating a cold sore not just preventing in IMO, as long as you use it straight away and apply it several times a day, it can work to stop the sore developing ;-)

Does this have lanolin in?

Sorry I can’t answer. I’ve looked on the tin, which is tiny and the list of ingredients is in such tiny text I’m unable to read it. It is a lovely lip balm though .

Can you use it daily and regularly throughout the day as you would any lip balm?

I did.Very god lip balm,need just a little bit and stays on for very long time.

Can children use this?

Yes I can't see why not. No harsh ingredients or chemicals and children use Spontex for cold saws and this is more natural and more effective :)

Good quality lip balm

Pocket sized lip balm with subtle scents. I love lemon balm and peppermint together so this was a no brainer purchase when I was suffering with sore, chapped lips. It's the first time I've experienced ilex wood products and I'm not disappointed. By the second application my lips were almost healed, no longer sore and very soft. Better than any lip therapy/repair product that I have used previously and all natural products. It also arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. I shall be purchasing from ilex wood again.

Good buy that does it's job.

Item comes in a small metal tin no plastic, it has a subtle peppermint smell and a slight peppermint taste, it is absorbed well and leaves the lips moisturized without being greasy. Though small it seems like it will last a while as only a little is needed as it keeps lips moisturized for a while. As for cold sore relief only time will tell. Initial impressions are that it is good item.

Great local natural product....that works and smell divine.

Great product that's now my daily routine (I'm a 52yr old Yorkshire man who doesn't do products) but having dry lips constantly as of late i thought id try this.It's a very nice smell and feel and it helps with the dry lips....So I would highly recommend this product and will 100% be buying again....

Helped with healing and felt incredibly soothing.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Tried this after doing some research. I found it luxurious and soothing. I suffer terribly with coldsores and they spread right across my lip. I, personally, didn't find that this stopped the spread but it healed them within 5 days; they usually take two weeks to heal. So I'm thrilled with it. Would recommend from a healing point of view but it may work to stop the spread in others, mine are just particularly vicious! The pot size is ideal, no need for anything larger as you only use a small amount at a time due to it being a small area. Looking forward to trying other products from this seller as the quality shines, it feels very wholesome and natural.

Great choice!!!

I love my New lip balm, it is all home made ingredients and very moisturising and it smells lovely.Will definitely be buying again, it came with a lovely note and arrived next day with my amazon prime. Excellent customer service ,small company and also received an email to see that I was happy. Will definitely recommend this company to my friends and now have my new go to lip balm. Nice balm, needs different EOs

Nice, natural lip balm. The lemon balm ruins it imo, there are lots of alternatives for helping to guard against cold sores that smell much nicer.
