I’m excited to learn how to use my new double ended crochet hook. I bought it for a class I will be taking soon.It arrived in perfect condition and the shipping was fast.

Someone at my knitting and crochet group at the senior center came with one of these hooks last week, and neither one of us knew how to use it. She had inherited it along with a started project and pattern book which appeared to be from the 70s. With the pattern directions and the help of YouTube we began to figure out how to use it. I came home and started searching for one of my own. I love learning new techniques. Not sure what I will make with this yet, but having fun experimenting. I've used an afghan (Tunisian) hook before but that one had a flexible cord. The longer solid hook means I have to change from pencil grip to knife grip, and is slightly awkward, but that is the nature of the beast. I think with time it will get more comfortable. So far, so good.

Sturdy but light metal hook. I use all the time for making dish scrubbies. Fits nicely in the plastic hook case I keep my most loved and used hooks in. Only wish it had the hook size engraved or stamped to easily see the size. This is the only one I have like this so I know the size, but can fit into a hook gauge tool to check.

Thought I was getting a pale yellow and got a pale pink. No problem, color doesn't have anything to do with it works.So, I'm off making a blanket for my grandson.

Got the job done.

Works for what I used it for. Holds a lot of stitches so I don’t have to turn as often.
