It stuck to a broken doggy door in freezing conditions!
My puppy chewed up the flap of his doggy door, and we got this tape the next day! It worked, and it’s still in place. I didn’t think it would last this long because my dogs go in and out 24/7 through that doggy door. Until the replacement flap finally arrives, this is an excellent fix!

Works great over insulation for turbocharger exhaust wrap
I needed this to add to and protect the exhaust system insulation. This keeps road debris off of the wrap under the car and inside the engine compartment adds additional heat containment, keeping the under hood temps down. It also improves throttle response and reduces turbo lag. The adhesive helps with initial installation but won’t holdup when exposed to prolonged heat so I use a lot of stainless bands offered here on Amazon. After everything is tight and leak free I use the high temp silicone spray paint offered on Amazon to seal the whole system to reduce rust and corrosion that wrapping seems to cause. This is a lot easier than the 0.010 stainless stock that I’ve used in the past.

You will need zipties
The adhesive will stick on nicely on when you apply it to a clean area. The problem is that heat will cause it to lose adhesion. The maker even says that the adhesive is not permanent and the use of zipties is needed. After a 45 min drive the edges of the tape were peeling off. I applied zipties where I could but the odd shape of my intake made it difficult to put zipties where it's need to be for a permanent solution so time will tell how bad it will peel. For $10 and some on hand supplies I'd be happy if it lasts a year.

The best heat-reflective tape on the market.
This Newtex heat-reflective tape is ten times better than Thermo-Tec. This tape has supreme adhesion. It's not too thick and reflects heat masterfully. It's flexible and can be manipulated around curves and corners easily. But at the end of the day, it's adhesion is what sets it apart. I used it to wrap my FX45's intake and MAF/IAT canister. The FX45 is now running better than ever. No more heat-soak of the intake air flow. ECM has no need to retard timing now that the intake air is so much cooler. This tape is the best.

Wonder Product!!
This tape is amazing! I know getting excited about heat reflecting material is not the standard for entertainment, but wow!! This tape is easy to cut, mold, adhere, and stays placed where you need it. Been battling for years, and four times replacing a connector for the electric fans on our vehicle. Of course it is placed right near the exhaust manifold. Time and heat has caused the connector to fail, thus causing the electrical connectors inside to loosen and fail. So far this tape has saved the new one, and was very easy to cut and mold around the entire connector, and along the wiring bundle as well. Thank you for a great product. Marion.

Keeps temps down
Works great to keep temps down from the areas where it’s applied but I had to give it low scores on the adhesive and durability. Let’s start with the adhesive. It sticks really good as long as the area is clean. Where it fails is after some heat cycles, the adhesive sticks like glue to the surface it’s stuck to but the cloth separates from the adhesive and falls off so now your stuck, literally, with the glue! Next is the durability, it only lasted a month at best before it separated from the glue in areas under the hood, maybe less, since I didn’t look for about a month and it could have come off sooner. But while it was together, it worked really good!

Let's see if the glue holds up in direct sun in Florida.
I don't want to replace my awning crank windows yet. They're old, and they don't close all the way. This will be fine for the extreme summer heat. No issue with peeling the backing off, and no issue with removing and reapplying if I didn't apply it where I want it to be.

It does it's job, very easy
I was very easy to put on I used it in many different areas of my engine and pretty happy with it it's no no strange problems the stuck very well and even though it says you know you got to come back that's sticky is only temporary it's lasted a long time and it's better than expected usually with a tape products you know there's junk
