Product description With its unique climate at altitude and rich, loamy soils - Darjeeling produces some of the world's most prized teas. Our selected first flush is produced from the seasons very first plucking’s within only a two-week period. The neatly twisted leaves yield aromatic a topaz liquor with hints of summer peaches, lingering fruity tones and traces of characteristic Himalayan astringency. When I created Chateau Rouge Fine Foods, I set out on my journey of exploration to discover some of the world's most remarkable artisanal, organic gourmet food products. We aim to bring you truly exciting taste sensations from around the world, made using the best ingredients, ethically sourced only from small producers and growers.
