BLACK+DECKER Appliances 1.7-Litre Stainless Steel Electric Kettle with Digital Control and Keep Warm Feature (Grey)

We use it daily. Operation is also simple. Keep warm functionality also works very well. Just need to read the manual once.Only downside is its not insulated. The external surface of the kettle also becomes hot while heating. So, need to keep it out of reach for children. We still opted it because we wanted to have keep warn feature. Not many models out there have the keep warm feature.

Bad quality of design & material used. Broke down after one year. The customer service is inefficient and unresponsive.Bought this due to trust in the Black & Decker name but they haven't lived upto the reputation in India.

Working flawlessly. A great boon as I can now heat water to the right temperature for my coffee!

Writing a review after 2 years of usage.. Stopped working after 1½year.. Facing problem in temperature setting after that.. Now it is not working at all.. Jus hearing beep sound.. Nothing working.. Base part becomes black after a week usage..

I was tired finding this product in stores and website finally found it on Amazon with great deal, it has different features of temperature control, so you can control the warmth ,looks classy and it has 1.7l storage. Good quality worth buying

Earlier I gave Black+Decker a 1-Star rating complaining about the kettle leaking soon after I bought it. Well it turns out, it was my fault, I was filling it up way too close to the top. The company clearly tells you to keep it to the level indicated. I’m so sorry to rant and rave about never buying Black+Decker ever again etc etc. (“Black and Decker Have Sold their Souls”). My sincere apologies. It’s so easy to ruin reputations.

I had always thought Black and Decker products to be one of the best. What a disappointment this kettle is ! I'm writing this review after having used it for over two months and I can confirm it's one of my worst buys ever. I bought it to replace a twenty year old Tefal kettle (which is still working by the way). What I don't like about it:1) The water level "gauge glass" is below the handle, reducing the visibility of the water level to zero. The level indicator should have been on the side as with the Tefal kettle - easy to see. Hence most often the water boils over spilling everywhere since the level is not visible.2) The body which is of steel obviously gets incredibly hot and if one is not careful, touching it can cause burns.To sum up, all I can say is IT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
