Sauder Canal Street Credenza, for TVs up to 60", Coastal Oak Finish

I was looking forward for the furniture to come as we buying a new soundbar etc. The entertainment caught my eye- good price, seemed sturdy, alot of storage room and matches with our living room. When it arrived, 5 pieces were bent, stratched and one even broken. I contacted the customer service and the lady re ordered the damaged pieces for us, free of charged. She said it would take a week. However, it arrived the next day, from Ohio! To assemble it took us 5hrs (we took breaks and had a piece upside down...blame hubby!) And instructions were clear to us despite other reviews. Happy with the entertainment. Is sturdy and heavy. the colour matches with the description, and the storage place is a plus! I recommend opening the box and check each pieces is inside and if is not damaged. You can get it replaced for free so double check! Be aware is very heavy. See pics for reference.

This is an excellent set! As many of us are we get skeptical buying furniture from online but after assembling this, the results were great! The gap height between the bottom set and the top shelf is about 5 1/2 inches which is enough space to place a sound bar, game console, router or some decorations. The finishing will look a little darker than the picture and may not be up to par with other brands. However that still doesn't make it a terrible set.All in all I would highly recommend this set to anyone.

This credenza is a beautiful piece. There is lots of storage in it. The directions were great, except the part on the drawer glide system.It was hard to figure out.It was packaged great, all the pieces were individually wrapped and protected. The outer box was made very strong, with no damage at all. There are 25 separate pieces to put together. I really love the piece though.

Hard to assemble especially if you have to remove a screw (a lot time the screws will not even go back inside the wood), but the warranty makes it well worth it! I called to have some of my pieces replaced and the customer service representative had them shipped to me within a week.

Very nice TV stand. Doors and drawers were easy to assemble but had difficulty getting doors squared up so that they do not rub against the bottom shelf or touch the bottom drawer. Also, even though I checked the dimensions on the shelves before purchasing, I did not notice that the top shelf has a metal bar just underneath the shelf all the way around, which means that my receiver will not fit because there is about an inch less space available. The instructions state that you do not need power tools, but the assembly would have gone quicker if my cordless screwdriver worked. I assembled the tv stand in 3-4 days for a few hours after work in the evening. I spent the 1st evening just checking that I had all the pieces and that they were in good condition. I would like to get the matching L-shaped desk.

Purchased this credenza for use in the dining area. It does take a while to assemble, but comes with a lot of parts. I assembled it alone with limited hand tools. Make sure your drawer slides are installed correctly!! I screwed up and the bottom drawer sits recessed but that's my own darn fault, and it's too much hassle to remove and reassemble. My only complaint is that in spite of the careful and plentiful protective packaging, the surfaces are scuffed in many areas. I plan on asking Sauder if there is a wax touch-up for this. They're not terribly noticeable unless you inspect.

This credenza looks great in my living room! It is quite heavy and so far very sturdy - I don't see that changing as the metal support bars definitely do the trick. I found it quite easy to assemble by myself, the instructions and package labels were spot on and I didn't have any missing pieces. Took me about 2 hours to assemble, would have been less if I didn't take a few breaks to refill my wine glass. It has a look of "cozy but industrial" and fits in perfectly with my room. Didn't realize that I'd appreciate the slide out drawer as much as I do! I'm going to put my record player there instead of on the top as I had originally planned.Overall, a really great product for the price. Very happy I went with this instead of an $800 one I was about to buy at a furniture store.

I have my 65" Sony on top of this on the stand and it looks great! It took me several hours to assemble but I took my time and was happy with the result. I used a drill on low torque setting and that sped things up. Assembly took me about 4 hours. I love that I can put my Xbox and PS4 in the center drawer having it revealed but can tidy up and put them away when I need a clean look. I have my soundbar on the gap and some decorations. Love the look!
