Broad History of Defensive Progression
This book highlights all the key schematic changes that have occurred over the history of the NFL, telling stories of when these changes occurred and how they were then standardized, and provides pictures of player alignments with their post-snap responsibility indicated by arrows and brief descriptions to give the reader a visual representation of the scheme, blitz, stunt, or coverage being discussed. It's well written and wholistically covers all the major changes that have shaped the modern style of defense seen today while projecting what the next generation of football looks like and why.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
This is one of the best and most interesting books I've read on football.Coach A has a great football mind and does a great job of breaking things down when explaining them while also providing a number of visuals.I would recommend to any and everybody that has any interest in football. His first book is awesome too!

Tons of Typos but Informative Content
Really solid and informative content but the entire book is littered with typos, gramatical errors, and misspellings on almost every page which can make it difficult to read.

Must have book for any serious defensive coach
The book is fantastic. Gives a good overview of past defenses and gives insight to changes in football and lays a good blueprint to defend future offenses.
