I bought this product (having tried many others) to ease sciatic pain and discomfort. I have found it an excellent support for my lower back region, which can cause me a great deal of pain. I use it along with yoga exercise to loosen my spine and joints (and during exercise to rest my head on). It is very supportive and soothing. It doesn't flatten like some memory foam products I have tried. I like the way the shape of it cradles the spine, rather than pushing it out like some products - which didn't help my problem. I intend to buy another one for the car. Not too expensive either, and worth every penny.

This in not a cunshion you sit on and from the diagram you wouldn't be considered stupid to think it is, I get the negative reviews for this. I've also seen in the questions that the seller has said it's not a head pillow even tho they have people doing so in the photos. The cushion is very thick which I'm sure is useful if your chair doesn't have any sort of curve in the back. Mine does and the pillow made my back crack just trying to use it in the way you are ment to. It's far to thick for my chair back, it's too thick and too narrow to sit on and seller says to use it only in-between your knees if in bed. Think I'm gonna return, I wanted someone to sit on to help my back. This is quite useless to me. Also I'm 5'2 an 9 stone, if I was a bit wider (shall we say) this would be too small for my back. For the price even if it was the sort of cushion I wanted, I would be returning for a bigger/better one

This back support works better than I expected but you need to position it correctly. It’s light, portable and is certainly relieving my back pain - I’ve only been using it for two days so hopefully this will continue to improve. I can see how it would work well as a head rest, foot rest etc. The only slight downside is that it is covered in a white and pale coloured material so will probably start to look dirty quite quickly. A washable cover or choice of solid darker colours would be really good - there are no instructions as to how to clean it. That said, i will probably be ordering another to keep on my office chair!

I had a bad bout of sciatica which resulted in a week off work and me being unable to perform normal tasks for daily living. This cushion was part of my recovery. I used it for sitting on the sofa (once able to get downstairs again), also for my knees and as a head cushion for a nap. I am still using it in bed overnight as i sleep in the small of my back (just above my bottom) in conjunction with a cushion under my knees. It relieves the pain and is part of the things helping me recover. Glad i bought it.

This support cushion is immensely helpful to me at the moment. I had a bit of an accident whilst Coasteering and managed to fracture my L1 vertebrae.I use it for support whilst sitting and also use it to support my head whilst doing my physiotherapy exercises. The tips received via email from the seller about how to use it properly were very much appreciated as well.

First off, you will need to move this cushion about to ensure it's in the right spot to support your back. Time well spent though, once you get comfortable, this really is lovely. My lower back feels so much better.Even if you only have minimal back pain like me, it's definitely worth it.Highly recommended.

I have been using the support for a few days and find it comfortable and giving fairly decent support. I bought 2, 1 of which I use in my office, the other on an armchair. I have felt that it has contributed to some pain relief since I began using it. The washable cover will come in handy. All in all a decent product

I think this is a good product and I found it helped me. But I wish the colours were more subtle as it is vary garish and bright. I had to make a new black velvet cover for it which is much more subtle. We don't all want to advertise to everyone who visits our home that we need a back support!!
