I am in love with this shower brush! I hate traditional shower brushes because after a while, they usually smell sour and get mildew on them. However, the silicone will never do that! Isn't that wonderful? The handle is perfectly long for my back. The bristles are surprisingly soft and about 1 inch long. Since it is silicone, it does not hold liquid body wash on the brush very well, but that is not a problem! I just put a big glob of acne wash on my shoulder and use the brush to move the soap all over my back. Alternatively, I suppose if you had a soap that works into a lather, you could create a bunch of suds, but I've only used acne wash. I am so in love with this shower brush, that I told my friends about it and now they all want one. So I am buying more brushes for my friends! Amazon, I want to know why this is not the first item that appears when I searched for a silicone shower brush with a long handle (it was sometime after page 12). I bought a little silicone face mitt that helps with acne, but I am not flexible enough to reach my back, so I have actually been searching for one with a long handle for a while.
