Alternative to Homemade
We were looking for alternatives to homemade biscuits and gravy and ordered Libby's Country Sausage Gravy. We love the convenience of having 12 smaller cans since many other alternative available are in large #10 cans and that isn't just "convenient" for most people.I popped open a can for a family dinner and was so surprised how thick and creamy this gravy was! I prepared it as stated on the can (simple heat in a pan & stir). Upon it getting completely hot, it still was very thick and since our family prefers a thinner gravy to ooze around my buttermilk biscuits so I added half a can of milk to thin the consistency. The amount of sausage included in the gravy was also surprising but in a good way! I honestly expected an artificial sausage "flavoring" with a few meat pieces included in the gravy. Pleasantly surprised that the flavoring is actually from the plentiful sausage bits swimming in the gravy!!!Good gravy...not as good as homemade but a great alternative & time-saver.

Good Value!
I taste tested these the other night for a quick dinner. Made some Grands biscuits to go with it. I added some freeze dried sausage crumbles to boost it a little, but this stuff was delicious! You could thin it just a bit with some milk. It's a true bargain and I'm glad I bought a case of them! Can't go wrong with this when you get a craving for some good ol' biscuits n' gravy!

versatile- use as gravy, base for creamy dishes, part of other recipes
It's good. Not amazing, but it is pretty good, and overall handy. I dont necessarily use it as gravy, but more for usage in creamy dishes. Like how some people use cream of chicken, cream of mushroom or whatever? I use this like cream of sausage. Adds a nice punch of flavor that is different than the other stuff.I also keep it on hand for the end of the world, lol. I figure it adds flavor and protein to possibly all the hundreds of pasta and rice dishes (and hot fresh Bannock) that will be consumed. Good to have a variety of options, and I bought a case of this for fall back.

Best canned sausage gravy I've tasted
Tried Libby's several years ago, then thought I'd try Campbell's. Mistake. Campbell's struck me as an unidentifiable, white, spackle-like substance with bits of similarly unidentifiable particulate matter mixed through it. I've been buying Libby's ever since; enjoying sausage gravy that actually tastes of sausage, surrounding real bits of sausage.

⛔️WARNING⛔️ Country sausage gravy is addictive.
This is probably the tastiest gravy known to mankind. When I spoon this stuff out of the can I get absolutely every drop into my pan and then I lick the spoon because I don't want to waste even one little drop of this the most delicious gravy that I have ever had in my entire life.First, get some ready to bake biscuits from the bacon Goods section on Amazon and precook the biscuits. In another saucepan warm up your sausage gravy. And yet another fry pan cook eggs over easy or sunny side up.With the biscuits freshly baked out of the oven you place them in a deep dish plate. Then put your eggs over easy or sunny side up eggs on the other side of this deep dish plate. Then pour your gravy over your biscuits.Shut everything off and head for The Breakfast Table.Enjoy one of the greatest breakfast meals of your life.

Good product, but dented cans.
I've enjoyed this gravy for decades, so it's obviously something I love. But stocking up through Amazon is a bit problematic. Nearly every can was dented, some severely. Packaging was somewhat lacking in this regard.

Would be perfect if it wasn't so salty
This sausage and gravy would be delicious if they didn't drown it in salt. You'll need to dilute it somehow. I tried it over biscuits, rice, and noodles. Still too salty.
