Recommend if you use your badge often
Very sturdy, quality badge holder. With a solid clip. Definitely cost more but seems like a good deal over the life of thx badge holder

really good quality!
What a solid piece of aluminum. it is very strong. sliding your card in feels really secure. i used it for my twic card and it really holds it down. this is just the aluminum portion.the plastic covering is about two credit cards thick. it feels solid. i tried to put a little bit of pressure onto it and it does flex but who would be flexing the cover purposely?i havent exposed it to the salt elements of the sea so that is something that i will be worrying about.the clip is very tight. i actually like that. it is very stiff so you will feel comfortable hanging it out of your pocket.totally worth the money if you can afford it.Update: I just dropped it 2 meters onto concrete tile flooring. no cracks, blemishes, burrs, whatnot.

Still Going Strong
Where I work, we are required to display a badge at all times on the premises. Our industrial environment is tough on most things. this Aluminum GOVO Badge Holder/Wallet has withstood the daily use without fail. It has proven to be very sturdy and holds multiple cards.I misplaced the lanyard that goes with the holder so I mount it to my waist pocket using the clip on the back of the holder which puts it in the line of fire so to speak. I am up against machinery, tables, racks and stands that it is constantly rubbing or bumping into. So far, a year in, it still in great condition.I would highly recommend this, especially if you work in a high contact industrial setting.

Not ideal for scannable badges
I really like the feel and finish of this badge holder. It's very sturdy and securely holds my badges. The only thing I have against it is the metal shields the signal from one of my ID/security badges and makes it difficult for the scan pad at work to read it. In a plastic holder, I just need to wave my badge 12 inches away from the pad to open the gate. With this holder, I need to place my badge directly on the pad for drive-thru gates. I need to remove the badge from the holder for the interior scanners that open doors. All that being said, I needed a metal badge holder because most plastics degrade rapidly when in contact with the various chemicals (and extreme temperatures) where I work. So far the clear plastic lense on this holder is holding up really well in my work environment. As winter is upon us where I work, I will update if the lense becomes brittle and/or cracks in the extreme cold.

Fantastic!
I work in a chemical plant and am required to wear a badge outside in the unit. The first badge holder I bought from this company was the plastic one and it held up for 5 years. It has been dropped from 30 plus feet, been exposed to countless hours in direct sunlight. Been abused and it held up for all that time. It had several cracks in the plastic but was still fully functional. I decided to get a new lens holder from this company and opted for the titanium model. This thing is great. Feels really sturdy, very good construction. Has some weight to it but not heavy. Feels great. Would definitely recommend.

So far I'm impressed and happy
I got the Aluminum version since the plastic one seems prone to breakage. The Aluminum one seems well built and I think it SHOULD hold up well. My particular I.D. card had scanned just fine. One time it did scan a little harder but it did scan. Mind you on our ID'S we don't have to run them thru anything, they're like a touch to the scanners type, so we don't have to take them out. I almost didn't order because I thought maybe it wouldn't work they this holder but today it did just fine. I'd say if this holds up as I expect it to that is worth the money. The clip is very strong and sturdy. Little heavy on a lanyard for now, but not blown around as much on the windy days as my other. It'll definitely get clipped once I get out of the winter layers. Which is another reason I went this route. It's a flexible worn item.

Nicely made, body and clip are metal
When I was looking at this, I read through the reviews, and some of those reviews claimed it was all plastic except for the lanyard connector. Truth is, the only plastic on this is the front window, which, of course, needs to be. The rest of the body, and the clip, are metal! The finish is really nice and I anticipate years of use out of it.

Solid!!
Every other holder I’ve used has broken within a month or two from normal wear. This one is going strong and shows no sign of breaking. I do with there was an RSA token holder built in.
