I am pretty religious about my coffee and have a Rancilio Silvia and Rocky combo that makes great espresso every time, with an Americano my beverage of choice. I love fresh roasted beans from local roasters where possible, but had been using Lavazza Super Crema or similar for years as every day go to. I switched to Mayorga Java instead, but on a whim tried the Organic select and have kept it as a regular in the rotation. It is a little richer than the Java but still a smooth, medium roast coffee.

Beans are WAY too darkly roasted. Misshape, Small , big all over the place with respect to sorting , Must affect the roasting (how do you control the roast process between small and bigger ? ) . End results.. you get a coffee that is lacking in taste, taste too cheap and leave you with the feeling that this product is just overpriced ....

This coffee was very fresh when it came. It is a quality coffee but is a little on the bitter side for me.

I love this espresso! I have tried many brands of coffee and most are disappointing at best.This is a full bodied ( but not over roasted or bitter ) espresso blend and I look forward togetting up in the morning and making that first cup. While I consider myself a coffee snobI am certainly no expert but I know what I like and this is a keeper!

Very nice trational flavor, I was a little hesistant about buying 2.2 lb bag but the consistency has been good as long as I am careful pushing all the air out and resealing the bag.

I suspect highly I got an old bag- as the 'best by' date was two months after i got it (very atypical for Filicori in my experience!). In any case- very harsh, astringent, almost sanka-like flavor regardless of how dialed in. bad mouth feel, and thin blonde crema. Pulled from 18g in/18 out through to 18g in/27g out- and longer pulls just taste worse. Genuinely feel i got a compromised bag thats been open for a very long time.

that says it all, value, quality and buzz! this is the best coffee for my super-auto out there, this and the kave, both wonderful!
