Honestly, I've had a few bouquets over the years that I really wanted to keep-not just those sad, brown, air-dried things, but something that actually held its shape and color. I finally decided to try the silica gel method, and this stuff has been a total game-changer for my sentimental side. The biggest thing is how fast and effective it is. I dried a huge rose and a few smaller blossoms, and they came out looking almost exactly like they did fresh but completely dry and solid. No shrinkage or that awful brittle look. What makes this particular kind amazing is the color-indicating feature. The little beads turn from orange to cloudy green when they're completely saturated with moisture, so I know just when it's time to "recharge" them in the oven. That feature alone is worth it-no more guessing! Plus, the fact that you can just bake them and reuse them means I can keep doing this whenever I get a new arrangement. If I have one tiny, non-critical complaint, it's that the powder and fine dust that comes off the beads is a little messy to work with. You really need to pour it slowly and carefully, or you'll have a fine film of dust on everything near your workspace. But seriously, that's just a clean-up issue. For how perfectly it preserves delicate flowers and for how long this 2.5lb container will last, that dust is completely forgivable. This is an easy, solid 5 stars.

Works well. Got a few more cycles out of it than told on packing. Will update when I am able to make it out back to factory and use again. Dries flowers amazing. Different flowers take different amount of drying time.

I used this silica gel to dry flowers from my garden, and it worked beautifully! The petals held their shape and color much better than air drying. Easy to use and reusable—highly recommend for anyone wanting to save special blooms or create keepsakes.

This was super easy to use and seemed to dry my flowers effortlessly. I took a star away because it is a lot of gel. I didn't really realize how much it would be but I was a bit worried that my flower would be crushed. I ended up not putting the entire amount of gel in and it worked perfectly.

Worked fantastically! I used this to preserve some of my daughter’s wedding flowers. My other daughter and I are addicted to the process now. So far, we’ve reused it three times. Love it! Imagine picking a flower or foliage that you love as you are out and about and getting to preserve it! A bit messy and seems like you need to do it outside due to dust.FYI

I am new to drying flowers so I am no expert in this field, but I have dried about dozen or so flowers with this product with no problem. I don't have space to hang dry flowers so I can't compare the result however I am pleased with the results I have gotten so far. Do note that is VERY dusty so be careful where and how you use it.

I love this product because it can be reused over and over again. You put it in the oven and it becomes dry again (and orange in color), ready to be reused. Good quality/quantity and price ratio

This stuff works SO well. Too well almost! I put a mushroom in it and it was dry as a bone in less than 48hrs. Definitely check on anything you put in it after a few days. I had some marigolds in for the recommended week and they got a bit too dry and brittle.
