Martin Richard W-8971 Metal Table Lamp, 19", Natural Stone & Antique Brass

Ordered one and it never came. Amazon kept me up to date for about 2 weeks and finally suggested ordering another which I did. They upgraded shipping and it got here very fast. It is a cute little lamp. However, not very well made. Parts are bent, small chunks of stone missing, crooked. Had to use the harp from another lamp I wasn't using. The stone is not one solid piece. You can see right through the two pieces of stone to the metal rod going through the middle. Too much trouble to return.

Based on the other reviews, I was very skeptical about this purchase but I made it anyways because the other lamp I was looking at (Crate and Barell) was $150. For half the price, I was expecting a difference in quality.In general, I am happy with my half price lamp. No cracks or bent parts as mentioned in other reviews. The biggest "flaw" is that the lamp is actually two separate slate slabs (front and back) with a space between them of about 3/4 inch and in this space you can see the pole of the lamp's structure. I was surprised because that element isn't shown in the images, but for me isn't a deal breaker (like I said, I knew it wouldn't be as good, as it is half the price). Also, the knob at the top of the shade is a slightly different color metal, nothing I would notice if I weren't examining the lamp closely.As I said, in general I am happy with my savings and this lamp will serve my purpose well.

the Product wat sold as used good condition, unfortunate use of good condition, great looking lamp but badly damaged shade, lamp was repairable, double check the reviews.

Paid $29.99 plus tax. Not very impressive, 19" tall, but looks small in place, probably worth $15.00, sorry I bought it.

This is the second lamp after getting the first marble was cracked I received the second one and was cracked worse that the previous one.
