Good value of The Beatles sheet music

As my daughter works out these songs I have new respect for the Beatles. There is a lot going on in these songs, but underneath there are beautiful chords. Many, many different beautiful chords in each song - far more complicated than most popular music. The songs are so good. Every now and then there is a chord that sounds weird and that is ok - you can listen to the original and then fix the chord in the book with a pencil.

This book is so awesome! On the recommendation of others who reviewed this book, I took it to Fedex to have them rebind it, so it can be opened flat on my piano. It worked wonderfully, and only cost $10. Be sure to do this. Yeah yeah yeah!

Music is right on piano wise but for guitar it’s not accurate. I’m going to keep the book for the keyboard…but shame on the company for not making the guitar chords right…for instance the song Blackbird is mostly all wrong. If you are going to make a book do it right the first time. If you want to play Blackbird properly you have to get a book with tablature. I am going to take it to Fed ex and have them spiral bind it.

I haven’t played piano for years but now have access to one. I can’t wait to dive in and begin learning to play these songs.

A lot of songs and I need a lot of practice. Just wish I could play the piano like I used too.
