Poorly written and lacks the details needed to produce a candle; i.e. ratios of wax to scent oils, coconut oil in beeswax, recommended wick sizes based on standard containers, etc. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. The font point size is 18-20...very large type. All photos are black & white (2018 copyright). This should have been a 15-20 page pamphlet vs. a book.

Loved the book and the experience. I started reading just to get some basic information about how to handle wax, but all the amazing information about beeswax and scented soy. I had a previously, but not good, experience with aromatherapy, but the instructions were so clear in this book that I could manage to combine a few oils and essences to do my beeswax and wax candles and the results were amazing. I am certainly keeping this book in my collection for future references.

The book is very helpful in soy candle making and all of its forms however it is a very short read that might take 30 minutes to read, so might want to buy a broader candle making book before this one if spending money, this was free for me through kindle.

Author quickly brushes through supplies. Starts to cover different wax types in depth and by the time she gets to beeswax, seems like she just got tired of writing and gives up.

For the price of this candle making book it was not worth buying.Not that informative.

I really enjoyed reading this book! I like how they included links and pictures,The details on making the different types of candles are really easy to understand , if i didnt read this book i would of never known about the different types of beeswax .

Great guide for the thrifty person who wants to take care of themselves. The candles I was able to make were terrific and cost very little. The difficulty level is intermediate though - need a little DIY experience tbh

This book is easy to read, and has easy to follow instructions. Great suggestions on scent combinations too.

Great for beginners and for those who want to look into the possible commercial aspects of candle/wax melt making. Thorough, informative and plenty of options and recipes!

I have just started making candles; this book has been an education on the mysteries of adding scent to candles.

Pretty basic info, nothing you can't find on google. Plus a lot of the steps/info is just repeated in the book.But it will be useful to have around while making my first few.

Not a big book but has quite a bit of instructionwhich I hope to follow in the New Year.I havent time now before Xmas.Ideal little guide for the beginner who wants to have a go at making candles at home.
