Great Kit for Beginners!
Love this sashiko kit, very worth the money for what you get in it! Easy to use and has very cute designs on it! I’ve really gotten into this form of stitching and you can find some really good kits on here to practice with.

Accessible entry to sashiko-style stitching.
This was the first sashiko kit I ever tried. Easy to follow directions on the back of each piece (use a translation app if you don’t read Japanese) plus English directions on a piece of paper, ample thread included in each kit. This particular kit does not include thimbles and needles (a different version of the kit is shown in bag in the lower right corner of the photo).

Great Kit for a Great Value
Absolutely great kit for starters! Great value for the kit as everything I received was made in Japan by Yokota (Daruma). Love it, and already started sewing one of them. The English instruction is helpful, but still does require a bit of guessing if you have not done Sashiko before.Highly recommended!

Everything you need to get started.
Wonderful value for a starter kit. I am just getting into this hobby and wanted a nice kit that didn't break the bank. This had everything I needed to get started. I've made all the little cloths and have needles and thimbles left over. The needle threaders are a little delicate. This would make a nice gift.

Cheapest thread on the planet
For $32 I expected needles and usable thread. The thread tangled within 4 inches of my starting point. Also, for beginners, the instructions on the rear of the cloth are in Asian characters. Finally, as for the fabric, I’ve paid $24 for nicer quality kits on the main crafts website. These are great patterns but not worth the money when you have to use your own supplies and the fabric is not what you’d buy if doing your own sashiko.
