These are very good irrigation heads - but like most rotary heads, they can be a little tricky setting the arc that you want. That’s not necessarily a negative for these heads. They’re well built and seem to operate very well.

I don’t know about the durability; I seem to lose sprinkler heads every 3 seasons or so, but swapping these in and adjusting was simple and they worked just as expected the first time in each case. This year I replaced 5, hopefully next year I won’t lose any.

I keep these stocked up because my lawn care service loves to run my sprinkkler heads over. I've replaced all the heads in my yard with these Rainbird heads. The selling point for me is you can replace the turning mechanism without having to replace the entire unit. Also, the adjustments make these heads one of the easiest to dial in compared to other big name brands.

This was simple. Order was delivered the next day as two of my sprinkler heads were not working correctly. This was important because the need was time-sensitive. The heads are reliable and sturdy. The first installed in 2 minutes. The second took me an hour and a half, but this has nothing to do with the product. Roots had grown around the connection and it was very difficult to clear the small hole to receive the new head. Once removed, it took 2 minutes! Very happy customer.
